How appropriate that we came to be מחזק ourselves to honor the bnei Torah who barely resisting everything to learn.

When Rav Aaron Kotler needed help there was a small group of balei batim who stepped up to help. Today we don't have a Yissochor like Rav Aaron ztl but Rav Shneur ztl said that a צבור of bnei Torah are like a gadol hador.. That is what you find in Lakewood yeshiva today is it a wonder that the Zevuluns want to connect with  them?

On erev shabbos a meeting took place at the home of Rav Malkiel Kotler  regarding the primary elections taking place now in New Jersey. In attendance were rabbanim as askanim spoke about the urgency of the moment, according to a statement released pointing to looming federal policy shifts that could significantly affect frum mosdos. Of particular concern is the push by the Trump administration to dismantle the U.S. Department of Education and shift funding authority to individual states  a move that, in the hands of leaders unfriendly to frum values and needs, could prove devastating for yeshivos and Jewish day schools. - President Trump  ordered an investigation into a long list of actions taken by Joe Biden as president. Among other things, the inquiry will focus on suspicions that Biden's aides deliberately concealed Biden's cognitive state and his alleged use of an auto pen, for example, in signing pardons. New Jerseyans have cast 308,462 votes in advance of the June 10 primary election, including 26,836 in-person ballots on the first day of early voting, according to an analysis by Ryan Dubicki, an election researcher for the Associated Press.

In the Democratic primary, 227,940 advance votes have been cast; that represents roughly 9.4% of the total number of registered Democrats in the state. Of that number, 213,501 were from vote-by-mail voters; Democrats have a VBM return rate of 41.5%.

R’ Ezzy Z"L  as he was known was a longtime Lakewood resident who lived down the block from yeshiva on the corner of Forest Ave and 7th street. Where he was well known among the bnei Hayeshiva greeting everyone with a sever panim yafos.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Devorah Neuhaus and their children.

The levaya is scheduled first at BMG Yoshon 2:00pm and than 3:00 PM today at the Lakewood Chapel, off 7th st with kevura at the Lakewood bais olam.

- The bodies of hostages Gadi Haggai and Judy Weinstein-Haggai were returned from Gaza to Israel in a military operation overnight, Kibbutz Nir Oz has announced. Unfortunately, there is judicial criticism of the conscription law. Israeli Media reports the phone call was not to be leaked, a  statement from Rav Moshe Hillels court  "We were shocked to hear about the leak of a conversation that took place between Maran Rosh Ha-Yeshiva Shlita and Prime Minister Netanyahu. - A Yeshiva bachur was  injured after he was hit by a driver in Jackson on 2nd day shavuos while walking South New Prospect Road near Citadel Drive in the afternoon. Police  found the bochur lying on the side of the roadway with serious head trauma. He was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center where he remains in stable condition. His name for tehillim is Aharon ben Sarah. The driver fled the scene but was apprehended a short time later  the Spring Lake man was arrested and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia

He is currently being held at the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.

Beautiful  nice weather and thousands of bochurim learning in their yeshivos first night with the streets packed following vasikin as they carried their gemara back home. Many new shuls in the greater Lakewood area were adorned with flower arrangements and held hachnosas sifrei Torah. L Y"T concluded with a Neelas Hachag at BMG that continues late after the zman with people driving over after Yom Tov to join.

- Over 100,000 people were oleh regular at the Kosel over shavuos. For the 1st time in recent years many visitors from chutz Laaretz spent yom tov in Yerushalayim with many minyanim for the 2nd day YT.

- Today marks the beginning of in-person early voting for the NJ Gubernatorial primary! Polls are open from 10am-8pm today through  Sunday from 10am-6pm. To find an early voting location in your county see Here. In Lakewood polls are open at municipal hall, Jackson, Brick and Toms River at the public library.

- Heavy IDF bombings in Gaza tonight 

- Targeted  terror attack in Boulder, Colorado, being investigated by FBI Kash Patel says.   Witnesses at the scene told CBS Colorado that the suspect attacked people with Molotov cocktails who were participating in a walk to remember the Israeli hostages who remain in Gaza. Several injuries reported.

- The suspect who attacked several Israeli supporters at an event today in Boulder, Colorado with a Molotov cocktail, has now been identified by law enforcement as Mohamad Soliman. Several individuals were injured in the attack and transported to nearby hospitals, including Soliman himself; with Boulder Police stating that they are not yet labeling this a terrorist attack, as Soliman’s motives are still under investigation by themselves and the FBI.

-The IDF Chief of Staff conducted a situation assessment and reconnaissance in the southern Gaza Strip and ordered the expansion of the maneuver to additional areas. "We are in the midst of a powerful and uncompromising campaign; Hams is losing control," he told the fighters.

- The IDF and Shin Bet eliminated Khalil Abd al-Nasser Muhammad Khatib, a squad commander in Hams’s al-Ma'azi Brigade. Khalil commanded a terrorist squad that carried out a raid that killed 21 IDF fighters in al-Ma'azi in the Gaza Strip last year.
