MLK Day some schools have no Busing

Due to MLK day public schools in Lakewood are closed. As a result private schools who have Lakewood Board of Education buses doing their routes will not have busing today. All other companies are expected to run today.

TRV News - A 65 year old Frum man from monsey was walking home from Shul Friday night on Route 9 near Finchley Rd in Lakewood, when he was R'L struck by a vehicle and suffered many fractures as well he went into cardiac arrest. Hatzolah paramedics worked on the patient and got a pulse back, he was then transported by helicopter Northstar-1 to a trauma center. Please continue to be Mispalel for Moshe Yecheskel Ben Faiga as he remains in serious condition. 
 APP reports The injured man, from Spring Valley, New York, was flown to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. He suffered a compound fracture of his ankle, a head injury and other injuries

LPD investigate incident at shooting range

LPD-Just before 4:30 pm, Officers and Detectives responded to the Garden State Pistol Range located on Swarthmore Avenue regarding a shooting victim. 
      Upon arrival emergency personnel learned that a 61 year old employee from Neptune had accidentally shot himself in the hand while retrieving a rental gun from a storage cabinet.
