- A Facebook post by a Lakewood media site triggered a slew of anti semitic comments and disparaging remarks about the Lakewood orthodox Jewish community and other frum communities posted on its facebook page. I don't see how that is related to this piece but I did see a few explanations: a) no matter how pressing something may be a person isn't obligated to risk their own life which hed be doing if he left the ir miklat as hed be exposing himself to the predations of the go'el b) as he is released when the kohen gadol dies we're afraid that when hes on the outside he may figure out a way to dispose of him to effectuate his release (meshech chochmah)

Two weeks ago mispacha mag had articles about ponzi schemes, and if it sound too good to be true, it probably is. This past week first ad in mag is for an investment firm claiming to offer 16% yearly return.....

DeleteFirstly the recent average annual return of S&P 500 is closer to 12% or less depending on the years you are putting into the average . Secondly any broker who tries to sell you a S&P 500 based mutual fund saying that you will earn 15% returns doing so , is being dishonest.
