    1. Its just a nice way to give yungeleit some more $$ because they probably have too much money.

    2. Based on your question, I’m pretty sure no one would be able to explain it to you, so they shouldn’t bother trying.

    3. Yes we’ll explain it to you after the dentists explain to you why cleanings take so long and plumbers explain to you why the pipe has to be so long. Who are you to need to understand hadracha for yungerleit. If you can’t trust the roshei yeshiva then you missed the boat entirely. You never deserved for your comment to be published. Please leave your bizuy gedolim by you.

    4. It's like mifal hashas that the klausenberg rebbe started.
Chazara is the key to kinyan Torah and incentives help push it
      your comment is trolling

  2. Not everyone is as elite as you
Not everyone can be like you and get 100s on their bechinas without chazering
As a matter of fact most people thrive on bonuses if they excel at their job even though everyone is supposed to be doing their best that is except for you
If we are fortunate to have a group of people that pushes someone towards honing a skill it’s a force of good
By the way these yungerleit are also your yungerleit why wouldn’t you want the keren to incentivize review ?

  3. Not everyone will chazer unless incentivized. Yes and in the perfect world people would be self-motivated and do the right thing no matter what the difficulty.

  4. Chas Veshalom!
Yungeleit are not paid to chazer.

Indeed, we shouldn't be paying for learning. Mif'al Hashas, Dirshu, Even Habochen, and others, all have the effect of making learning Torah into something that can be sold and bought, a degradation of the lofty level of Torah that is above gashmiyus.

It is not our finest hour. We should treat learning with more respect.

Support Yungeleit, by all means. But don't make Torah into a 'sandwich and coke', as Reb Hillel Zaks eloquently put it.

  5. Yungeleit, are underpaid. This is a dignified way to give them money and recognition.

  6. And if they won't get paid they won't do chazarah. Upitamy of shelo Leshmah! I thought R Aaron wanted the yeshiva to be a makom of Torah Lishmah!?
