Hate filled comments and misinformation

The busing fiasco has triggered lots of hate filled comments in the media and misinformation this comment was posted.. not in the usual hate boards found in the app but on TLS Facebook page...

I have lived in Lakewood for over 12 years and just have to put in my two cents.
The public school children in Lakewood have compromised more than once. Public high school students are at bus stops by 6:35 in the morning, middle school students are at the bus stop by 6:50 in the morning. All public school students are forced to share textbooks because there aren't enough books for every student. This means whether you have homework or not, you cannot take any textbooks home. Our public school students and teachers have had to endure temperatures near 100 in the classrooms in the summer and have had to wear their coats inside the classrooms during the winter months. The parents, students and staff of the Lakewood School District have done nothing but compromise time after time. Now just a few months ago the rabbis agreed to stagger their start and/or end times by only 15 minutes. And they did for a few months. 15 minutes doesn't seem like a lot, but this 15 minutes would guarantee each and every public and private school child would have bussing for the 2015-2016 school year. Now we read that the Orthodox Jewish community is refusing to stagger their school start/end times by this same 15 minutes that was agreed upon a few months ago. They say it affects their family dynamic.
This is not only ridiculous, but the most selfish act I have seen in a long time. They demand segregated bussing instead of compromising so all kids can have bussing. It's ridiculous because public school parents have had to adjust schedules time after time. What makes the Orthodox Jewish children more important than our public school children? Since the Orthodox Jewish community is refusing to compromise and stagger the start/end times of their school day, they should pay for their own way. Something needs to be done about this and fast!
Why punish our public school children by taking their busses away (which will also put all after school activities in jeopardy) because of the pure selfishness of the Orthodox Jewish community? What lessons will this teach! SHAME SHAME SHAME ON YOU THE ORTHODOX JEWISH COMMUNITY! Selfish and greedy people!!!!

Here is another one..

I agree, this is not about bashing Jews. This about EVERYONE needs to pay their way. Their not royalty they dont need to b treated better then everyone else. They live in homes on the property around the rest of us and should pay taxes just like your everyday Joe. This high and mighty attitude they walk around with has to end. I respect their religion as I do everyone's but that doesn't mean they should have everything handed to them

  1. The reasons the school rejected the tiering plan was simple. Even if it would have worked there still would be lots of children with no busing. Therefore parents would have to carpool 4- 5 kids for an hour straight every morning since the schools will all be starting different times. that impossible for any working or even non working parent.
