- IDF: Early this morning 6 rockets fired at central Israel from Lebanon; 5 intercepted, 1 hit open ground

- Axios reports that Trump will serve as America's "Negotiator in Chief" for any hostage negotiations during his term. Additionally, the report claimed that while Trump was on a phone call with Israeli President Herzog a week ago, he thought that most of the hostages were dead. Herzog surprised him and said that Israeli intelligence believes that around half of the hostages are still alive.

- Arab media outlets are reporting that IDF ground units have reached the Litani River. T

- IDF statement in response to Hamas video showing a hostage has been killed in northern Gaza where the IDF was: This evening the terrorist organization Hamas released a video in which a female hostage is allegedly seen killed. We are checking the information and at this stage we are unable to verify or refute it. IDF representatives are in contact with her family and are updating the, with all the information available to us." "Hamas continues to use psychological terror and behave in a brutal manner. Please refrain from spreading rumors and publications that harm the families of the hostages."

-Failed assasination attempt:  This morning, the IDF carried out a strike in Beirut targeting senior Hezbollah official Mohammed Abu-Haider. Haider is the most senior military figure in the organization after the series of Israeli assassinations since 10/7.  Reports say 20 ppl were killed but the target was not killed.

  2. Based on reports by alternative media, the hostage was killed by an Israeli strike. It appears Israel knows that this is fact and is just stalling for PR reasons.
