CHEMED south to serve the Chasidic community to buy votes for Vaad and AK. Until now they used the L Bus to drive them straight to Chemed North or had a CHEMED mobile unit in their development. Us longtime residents never had such services....
ReplyDeleteBecause us long time residents already sold our soul to the Vaad, and blindly vote to their endorsement.
DeleteA Groiseh Chutzpah.
DeleteStop & Shop wanted to BUY that property for a parking lot and the township said it was protected green area or something like that.
All of a sudden they can lease it to CHEMED. What a SCAM. Part of the endemic corruption in this town.
When’s CHEMED opening their planned third location right next to Costco?
DeleteThe third location can’t open until a certain scandal is forgotten about
DeleteAnd just 2 weeks before Election Day!

ReplyDeleteThey could take advantage of the old timers because they use daas torah to do it, but the new residents from Brooklyn get the red carpet treatment with all their needs, they got sidewalks and playgrounds right away paid for by the taxpayers free shuttle bus service to chemed while seniors in Lakewood who cant drive were not offered the option. Commiteemen went to Brooklyn to a realtor housing fair with incentives of moving to Lakewood while at the same time BMG youngeleit can not afford to buy a home. Its all about the money and they keep on raising taxes on the residents as a result of the development which a few are profiting off.
ReplyDeleteDisgusting. Why do we keep voting the same politicians in over and over again. It’s just crazy.
DeleteVote for Harold! Make the insanity stop!
DeleteIt’s called super stop
ReplyDeleteWhy shouldn’t they be charged full rent? A business like any business
ReplyDeleteThere were environmental issues at the property but it was cleaned up.

Deleteread the haftorah of Parshas Vayeshev the נביא עמוס talks exactly about what is going on now of those who profit of the working poor.
ReplyDeleteThe prophet Amos rebukes Israel for a lengthy list of sins and warns that harsh punishment is on its way. he offers a caustic critique of interpersonal behavior among the Israelites. Amos outlines the ways that the wealthy in Israel oppress the poor: “They have sold for silver those whose cause was just, and the needy for a pair of sandals…you who trample the heads of the poor into the dust of the ground” (2:6-7). Greed among the Israelites has led to profanity of God’s name, Amos explains. Wealthy people are visiting God’s altars while wearing clothing they have taken unjustly from the poor. Fines levied on the poor are being used by privileged people to purchase and drink wine for supposedly holy purposes (2:8). Amos decries this hypocrisy. He recalls all the good God has done for the Israelites, namely taking them out of the land of Egypt and destroying the Amorites, so that they could settle their own land. Moreover, Amos claims, God appointed prophets and raised up nazirites among Israel– to show the people the right path, so that they would not sin. But Israel refused to listen: “You made the nazirites drink wine and ordered the prophets not to prophesy” (2:12).
Israel’s unjust behavior and stubborn refusal to be educated will be punished severely, Amos warns. Even the swiftest, strongest warriors will not be able to escape on the day of God’s reckoning (2:14-16).
It"s all about who you know and how powerful you are others have tried to get properties and were told there are environmental issues or other problems while those who have protekzia get whatever they want.
ReplyDeleteSuch jealousy. Could you not forgin what others have received. As a longtime Lakewood resident, I am embarrassed by your bickering about what is being done to help. Please look in the mirror and recognize how much good we have.
ReplyDeleteFYI Not a fan of the vaad but will keep my opinion on that
