- Keren Olam HaTorah delegation in Deal,NJ today with small events at private homes on the beach. Rav Moshe  Hillel Hirsch and Rav Malkiel Kotler shlita joined the delegation today. Rav Moshe  Hillel heading back to EY on Wednesday. Local shuls in Lakewood kick off the shutout campaign with credit card sign up and complimentary danishes.

- Giyus: MK Goldknopf went to visit over 50 bochurim sitting in jail for  Draft evasion. He said They are served food from a month ago.
MK Avigdor Liberman criticized the visit by Goldknopf  tying him to Netanyahu saying it took place on a day that the country is burying 5 soldiers. 

- Toaiva legislation expected in Trenton this week as Lakewood area eyes how local assemblyman will vote. With a few  bills up for vote. One bill designates June as pride month in NJ.Amother bill would outlaw protesters blocking access to clinics and video-recording people outside of clinics and hospitals. insurers also would be prohibited from denying or limiting coverage of abortion and gender transition and identity medical services. - More than 26,000 New Jersey residents have been kicked off their monthly food benefits since the Trump administration’s federal work rules took effect, state officials said. In Ocean County 1,124 people lost  SNAP  benefits. 
Hudson counties are most affected by the new federal work rules. More than 6,800 people lost their benefits in Essex County and more than 3,200 people are off SNAP in Hudson County. The numbers reflect individuals who didn’t meet work requirements, or file a medical exemption in May and June.

Emergency food advocates say it’s only going to get worse, further straining food pantries that are already seeing surging demand amid soaring gas prices and stubbornly high living costs.

- Senior leaders in Shas and United Torah Judaism were reportedly  upset that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may dissolve the Knesset and call elections without passing key Charedi-backed laws. The move has caused frustration among chareidi parties, which had hoped to secure legislation on daycare subsidies, arrests related to draft enforcement, and legal protections for Torah study before any election. The tentative date for new elections is 9 Cheshvan.

- BDE: Three Israelis were killed in a plane crash A pilot and two passengers have died after a small aircraft that departed from New Jersey crashed in Maryland. The single engine Piper Cherokee crashed in the town of Bowie on Saturday night, the Maryland State Police said in a Sunday statement. The plane departed from Ocean City, New Jersey and was scheduled to land at Montgomery County Air Park in Gaithersburg, Maryland, police said. They were part of a flight school. Identities have not yet been published.

- A fire that broke out Saturday morning at an RV park in Barnegat Township destroyed five RVs and prompted the evacuation of residents. Firefighters, assisted by neighboring departments and the New Jersey Forest Fire Service, prevented the flames from spreading into nearby wooded areas. No injuries were reported, and the cause remains under investigation. #Barnegat #OceanCounty #NJNews #FireResponse
