Iran Israel Updates Thurs June 4

- Trump, in response to a question about a ground operation in Iran to extract uranium: I don't want to be Jimmy Carter (who failed in the hostage operation). You need to be there for two weeks. We considered it. This is not Venezuela. Be there for a week or two. It requires an infrastructure operation. They still have missiles they could aim. We have cameras on the site; a camera covers every inch

- The US state department has issued a travel warning to US citizens traveling to Israel.
Due to high tensions in the region, the security environment remains complex and can change quickly.  We remind U.S. citizens in the Middle East of the continued need for caution and encourage them to monitor the news for breaking developments.  The State Department Travel Advisories for Bahrain, Israel, the West Bank, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates remain at Level 3 – Reconsider Travel. Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Gaza and Yemen remain at Level 4 – Do Not Travel. Potential for Hostilities: U.S. citizens should know the location of the nearest shelter in the event of hostilities.

- A IDF soldier was killed in a Hezbollah anti-tank guided missile attack in southern Lebanon earlier today, Eitan Shmuel Lemberg, Hyd, 21, from Mishmar HaShiva

- Hezbollah Secretary-General rejects the ceasefire agreement: "We have not committed to anyone not to resist aggression or not to respond to it. As long as the aggression continues, we will deal with it and respond where and when we decide and can. As long as our villages are not safe, are being shelled and destroyed, and as long as our people are being killed, the cities (in Israel) will not be safe either."

- Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was visiting the northern town of Shlomi some 30 minutes before drone warning sirens sounded in the community, the Prime Minister’s Office confirms to The Times of Israel.The premier was unharmed and has since left the area, the PMO says

- Sirens warning of a suspected drone attack from Lebanon sound in several communities in the Western Galilee.The IDF says the details are under review.

- President Donald Trump says a symbolic House vote approving a war powers resolution that would halt the US military action against Iran was “meaningless.”

- The President of Lebanon: “Lebanon ceasefire expected to begin within 24 hours of final agreement. Yesterday's negotiations were very difficult and resumed after the intervention of Secretary of State Rubio. We are waiting for responses from relevant parties, guarantees for implementation and execution of the ceasefire.”

- Commander of the Quds Force in the Revolutionary Guards, Ismail Qaani: "Supporting the resistance in Lebanon (Hezbollah) is the duty of us all. Fulfilling the demands of the resistance means returning Israel to the point it was at before the war began. The Lebanese resistance fighters will soon see the results of their struggle"

- Trump was asked by the Financial Times if Iran actually agreed to let the US come and remove the enriched uranium, as he claimed: "Well, it depends on what day you're talking about, they did agree. It's one of the things we're talking about. They attribute too much importance to it; I am the one who exaggerated its importance. It is important. For others, it is not important. We will enter at some point in the near future to remove Iran's high-level enriched uranium from the ruins." Trump reiterated his claim that the US would do this in coordination with the Iranian regime

- Allowed for publication: Within the framework of the ambitious plan to overthrow the theocratic regime in Iran, the Mossad provided weapons and ammunition to the Kurds, which were taken from Hamas and Hezbollah.
