This Agreement is until April 2nd. I did this as an accommodation, and out of respect for, President Sheinbaum. As the Secretaries learn about, and understand, the people working for the various Departments, they can be very precise as to who will remain, and who will go. We say the "scalpel" rather than the "hatchet." The combination of them, Elon, DOGE, and other great people will be able to do things at a historic level.

https://matzav.com/rav-chaim-kanievsky-expresses-support-for-wzo-vote-in-letter-to-rav-shmuel-kamenetsky/
ReplyDeleteRav Chaim is not alive, Rav Shmuel has not said anything but Rav Dov Landau the head manhig of Degel Hatorah in Eretz Yisroel was very clear in his letter against joining the wzo
DeleteSo it's quite shameful that the frum media is advertising for eretz hakodesh
I'll make sure a letter with Rav Shmuel's signature is produced.

DeleteWhat's going on with the fires by Rabbi forcheimers shul
ReplyDeletehttps://fixinglakewood.blogspot.com/2025/03/fire-in-rabbi-forcheimers-shul.html
Deletefixing lakewood and some other gangsters are mad at rav forchimer because he publicly called upon the bhv young hot heads to explain themselves in front of seniors poskim. they refused to and got their lackeys such as fixing lakewood to make trouble.
Deleteas rashkbha"m said "my talmidim are very makpid on kovod hatorah, i can't control what they might do...."
DeleteBeis Havaad are hotheads and gangsters, yet those who have spent months pressuring anyone they could to sign a one-sided issue are the tzadikim.
DeleteSpare me.
The BHV has explained themselves to anyone who wants to listen. Those who don't want to listen sign letters.
Reb Reuven Feinstein gave his opinion quite clearly.
Who's fixing lakewood? One of R. Sholom's boys?
DeleteInstead of realizing the inevitable The internet is here to stay, You can attempt to delay or minimize your usage But hiding your head in the sand will not work. Having someone else do the"dirty" Is work for you is ridiculous. All your appliances and your car any government agency or business sooner or later will only communicate over the internet. Get real!
ReplyDeleteHere I am in the internet just like you. But I must disagree with you. Those who managed until now to keep their families off the internet should be commended and supported. Why does it bother you that people are trying so hard? If America can accommodate the Amish, we can definitely accommodate the Yeshiva oilam.
DeleteR Matisyahu also said to give up your job if it will require the internet - When someone offered to fill out the forms for 25.00 why was the sign ripped down? why didn't he get a single call? These people aren't serious - when it comes to any other program that requires internet they manage to get someone - these people just enjoy making machos - sad
DeleteBecause no halachic authority agreed. The real issue of why the anti internet program was not a success was because of the lack of clarity and guidance. Opinions ranged and changed From no texting to ok if necessary........
DeleteHere to stay or not- is no reason for an individual to liberally make use of it, no reason to force it on others, no reason to not give another option. It is a lousy excuse for misguiding the masses on Daas Torah.
DeleteIf the sign was ripped down that might hint why he didn't get a phone call.
DeleteCoercing even if given another option at higher cost is definitely encouraging to completely ignore.
What kind of ideal is 'clarity'?
DeleteYes, opinions were varied, as is the norm for Halacha. Why is uniformity a goal? We have people attempting to force their opinions on others, but that is wrong.
Without even looking at the booklet about Eretz Hakodesh I knew it would be written anonymously
ReplyDeleteBezh eretz hakodesh will be matzliach against the reform goyim.
DeleteEretz Hakodesh has stiff competition this year from Aish Hatorah slate. Everyone wants a piece of the pie it's all about the Benjamin's nothing to do with reform or kedushas Haaretz talking points.
DeleteSome gedolim said last time that covid came as a result of the frum olam voting for WZO.
Even if I believed that my voting for Eretz Hakodsh only meant some askan getting more money in his already over stuffed pocket I would vote for them anyway. End of the day the Reform movement very clearly sees them as a major impediment to their shmad efforts in EY. That is what matters to me.
DeleteAnonymous 1:51 you are a mechutzaf as Rav Dov Landau is very aware of what is going on yet he wrote a scathing letter against voting and joining WZO
DeleteBut you know better and blame it on the reform
Reminds me of the derashs of Reb Gershon Ribner.
DeleteReb Chaim Kaniyevsky was discussing the exact same metzius as Reb Dov, yet encouraged voting. Lehavdil bein chaim lechaim, Reb Avraham Gurwitz and Reb Eliyahu Levin said the same. Yet we are bullied into believing that only one opinion counts, under threat of 'mechutzaf'. Sorry, we don't buy that claim any more. My Rebbe in fifth grade told me I am a mechutzaf, and I am not willing to change. We need more chutzpah in the world, not less.
Anonymous 3:29 I give you the same brocha I was given many years ago when I thought and talked just like you "Helevai your experience in life should be one that when you reach my age you will still think that way"
DeleteAnonymous 4:35
DeleteRav Elyashiv saw the same metrics as Rav Chaim did and on the last years of his life wrote a letter against shas joining. But the wzo nicks said that Today Rav Chaim is alive and the gadolinium.
Well besides the fact that the heter from Rab Chaim was very suspicious as Rav Aaron Feldman wrote, the fact is that today Rav Chaim is not alive and the Manhig of Degel HaTorqh Rav Dov Landau who is alive issued a strong issue against joining WZO or voting but that dosent work good for the eretz hakodeshniks who have millions of dollars so they disregard Rav Dov their own leader HYPICRATES OF THE HIGHEST LEVEL.
Rav Avrohom Gurwitz is a psak for gatshead.
There's no letter from Rav Eliyohu Levin.
Stop with the lies stop with zilzul chachomim because you are making a few bucks
The trick of the foolish kanna'im is to pile things up with personal attacks, misdirections, and half-claims, so the person reading it doesn't know which pile of nonsense to attack first.
DeleteReb Avraham Gurwitz is a pesak for Gateshead, but Reb Dov Landau is a pesak for what????
Reb Eliyahu Levin didn't write a letter, neither did he eat a knish. Who cares? We know his opinion, and that's what counts.
Reb Chaim explained his opinion to Reb Avraham Gurwitz. If he disagreed with his fil, so what? Did he also receive millions of dollars?
And why is money a bad thing? If it means money for Yiddishkeit, why is it smart to ignore it?
Bottom line is, there is one mechutzaf in this conversation. But he is a hero to the kanna'im, so their kanna'us against college etc. disappears.
Anon 6:52
DeleteThere you go writing alot of stuff but avoiding the issue
You are trying to minimize Rav Dov Landau to justify your vote for Eretz Hakodesh
You mock all the gedolei olam as Kanaaom from The Chofets Chaim Rav Chaim Brisker Rav Reuvein the Chazon ish all who stated unequivocally against joint the WZO.
You're sick trick is to call them out as kannaaim and that is a bad word to your YWN Modox audience you are pandering too.
Pesach Lerner himself said that it was never about the money to join the kofrim but you mechutzaf know better.
Are you on the payroll to get the votes from flatbush
Reb Chaim Kanivski encouraged marrying at halachic age, long jackets, payos in front of ears, brim up, no electricity in EY on Shabbos, protesting against the Israeli zionist government, boz yavuzoo lo on chardak soldiers, no wristwatch.
DeleteAnd much more , he authored a sefer Orchos Yosher, all this very clearly, in his healthy and independent years and stages.
Pesach Lerner is a sincere person pure L''sh"SHm
DeleteFighting last or two generations ago fight isn't healthy.
The yerushalmis lost most of their kids prior to mid last century- through fighting wrong issues, like your crowd
Why is Rav Dov Landua the posek for those who never asked him any shaalos and have zero connection to or influence from him ? Who decided that such people have to abide by his pesukim?
DeleteThe arrogance and chutzpah to insinuate that Reb CHaim wasn't 'independent' at any time of his life is apropos for those who accuse others of being mechutzafim for following the opinions of other Gedolei Yisroel
DeleteRitchie Taylor works day and night to protect Jewish new yorkers
ReplyDeleteLSTA has extended their deadline. The state deadline is next week anyway. They are harassing the schools and sending parents into a frenzy, and the people are schlepping down to LSTA and then they can't help them.
ReplyDeleteThe LSTA site has been crashing intermittently today, many people who schlepped to kiosks around only to find out that the site is down.
DeleteAnd the deadline is really next week, if at all...
The website crashed for me too. I waited another minute and then it worked. Have patience! ObamaCare crashed the first day too, and now its working great.
Deletehonestly their website looked pretty amateurish
DeleteIf Obamacare is LSTA's goal, we're in bad shape.

DeleteTrump Should take the Tariff income and give it back to the consumers - He should give it to those buying american goods A double whammy and it will offset any "recession" caused by the price of goods!
ReplyDeleteThis is actually a great idea.
DeleteMusk proposed a similar idea for the monies saved by doge
Then we found out that hardly any money was actually saved. The vast majority was smoke and mirrors, miscalculations, and already saved money from a year ago,
DeleteYou realize that the tariff $ will come from Americans paying more for goods. If you just give that $$ back to Americans then you are in the same place as if there were no tariffs since you won’t have made foreign items more expensive.
DeleteIn the short term at most. You've been swallowing MNC pervasive propaganda campaign
DeleteJust hold on!
In the longer run,the domestic atmosphere will [hopefully] soon start combusting. It's happened before!
Anonymous 830 - the importers will get hit with the tariff- the money will go to consumers purchasing American goods The importers in effect will be paying double the tariff.
DeleteAnd the importers pass the tariffs to their customers, right?
DeleteChill. The MNCs are pushing complete media idoctrination.

People fight for an idea. A nation is an idea – a shared understanding of history, values, ancestry, and a collective hope for the future. Crucially, this idea is not something that emerged from a brainstorming session in a university seminar but was forged through centuries of trial and error, tested in the real world, and found to work tolerably well (which, by European standards, is practically a ringing endorsement).
ReplyDeleteYet, for the past thirty years, Governments – regardless of political stripe – have systematically dismantled these foundations in pursuit of a utopian fantasy generally summarised as “woke.”
The result? A nation in decline, its identity eroded, and its sense of purpose reduced to little more than an awkward shrug.
Against this backdrop, is it really any wonder that young men no longer feel compelled to fight for their country? You can’t expect people to risk their lives for something they don’t recognise, let alone believe in.
For the (post)modern era of globalism this changed. What we see now is that global financial capital has no problem of shipping production overseas, preferring foreign workers over domestic workers. Post-national and postmodern ideas, as well as supra-national institution, are used ad hoc to facilitate this. At the same time the concentration of wealth within this borderless capital produces a power structure that seems increasingly neo-feudal. The internet supercharges this. It is not hard to see how all of this undermines nationalism and the world that came out of the enlightenment. Just like old feudal lords many billionaires and some other elites seem to have more in common with each other than with their citizens. However, I think it has awoken other ghosts from the past as well, such as ethnic, national, political, religious and even racial identity. But now on the global scale.
