Israel At War Thursday March 6

Israel at war day 517

- Hamas military wing spokesman Abu Ubaydah: “Any escalation of aggression against our people will lead to the killing of the hostages.”

- Israel Defense Minister Katz has instructed the IDF to carry out an exchange between the protesters who will arrive in protest flotillas to the Gaza coast and the residents who wish to leave Gaza: "Anyone who comes to demonstrate on the Gaza coast for the residents of Gaza - we will send them into Gaza and use the ships to evacuate residents from Gaza."

- A Palestinian source for Sky News Arabic: The US has offered Hamas the release of 10 live hostages held by the organization in exchange for extending the ceasefire in Gaza by two months. According to him, the American offer includes opening the crossings and resuming humanitarian aid. Hams is still considering its response to the offer

- Reuters cites Egyptian sources: Progress in talks on phase two of the deal. Trump envoy Witkoff spoke with senior Hamas officials and the mediating countries

- Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem responded to Trump's ultimatum to release the hostages "These threats complicate matters in the ceasefire agreement and encourage the Israeli government not to implement its provisions."

-In likely message to Iran, Israeli and US air forces carry out joint drill that included Israeli F-15I and F-35I fighter jets flying alongside a US B-52 bomber.

- Secretary Of State Marco Rubio: Trump lost his patience with Hams, he has had enough with seeing the hostages come home in drips and emaciated, it is time to end it.

- DM katz: The ceasefire agreement with the murderous Hamas, and the heavy prices Israel paid, and is willing to continue to pay, within its implementation, are intended to bring about the rapid release of all living Israeli hostages, who are held under the most severe conditions in Gaza, and to bring all of the hostages who are not alive for burial in Israel,”
One thing is clear — the fighting will end in two clear achievements: the release of all of our hostages and the defeat of Hamas,” he adds.

  1. Why doesn't Israel just stick with Trump's ultimatum, instead of the dragged out approach they've been doing till now.

    1. Trump is pro-Israel just like the Israelis are. But Trump is not scared of his own shadow. The Israelis are.
