Israel at war day 487
- The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it, too." –President Donald J. Trump
- David Friedman: Trump’s proposed USA takeover of the Gaza Strip may sound out of the box, but it is brilliant, historic and the only idea I have heard in 50 years that has a chance of bringing security, peace and prosperity to this troubled region.
- Trump: I'm talking about moving all Palestinians from Gaza permanently. Palestinians have no alternative but to leave Gaza, and he would like to see Jordan and Egypt take them. More countries besides Egypt and Jordan will accept Gazans. Even the buildings that are still standing will collapse. The death in Gaza has been going on for years.
- Trump on Netanyahu: We have the right man who has done a good job for a very long time and we are a winning combination.
Netanyahu: Trump added tremendous leadership power. I support achieving all of the war goals, including freeing the hostages and toppling Hamas.
- U.S. President Donald Trump: I am ready to hold talks with the Iranian President. Iran is very close to possessing a nuclear weapon. We have the right to prevent the sale of Iranian oil to other countries.
- Trump: If Iran tries to assassinate me in response - it will be destroyed
- Trump signs order to tighten sanctions on Iran, saying: They are too close to nuclear weapons
- US National Security Advisor Waltz:
“Hamas cannot be allowed to continue to exist and threaten another 10/7 in the future. Iran continues to be the head of the snake.”
-Senior Israeli official: Netanyahu and envoy Witkoff discussed reducing the steps in the current deal. That is the faster release of the hostages. For this to happen, Israel must "pay" in additional exchange or advance one of the existing exchanges. The matter is currently under review and examination
- Trump's MidEast Envoy Steve Witkoff admits that ceasefire deal is suboptimal, since it was not dictated by the Trump admin but rather by Biden. "We had nothing to do with it. So now we're working within that rubric, and we're figuring things out."
- Terror attack
2 IDF soldiers killed, 8 hurt in shooting attack at IDF checkpoint in northern West Bank
Palestinian gunman breaches military post near Tayasir, exchanges fire with troops for several minutes until he is killed.
The attack took place at the Taysir checkpoint, close to the Palestinian village of the same name. The checkpoint is on a road leading from the Jordan Valley to the village and other Palestinian towns.
One of the slain troops was named. Ofer Yung HYD, 39, from Tel Aviv.
Other soldier Tzvika Friedman,43, HYD a reservist father of 6 from Ein Hanatziv
- Likud MK Moshe Saada: Government benefits should be conditioned on military service The simple way is ‘you don’t serve, you don’t receive’ and that’s for everybody,” he says, arguing that this should also apply to Israel’s Arab population, which is exempt from service.
-Senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan: The second phase of the deal negotiations will be vital because it will discuss the release of prisoners from all categories, including those sentenced to life sentences, Hezbollah prisoners, and prisoners arrested after October 7. We are negotiating with several countries to take in deported terrorists.
- Trump's Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff and National Security Advisor Mike Walz arrived at Blair House for a meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu
- Intelligence suggests that Iran could produce a crude nuclear device that could act as an immediate deterrent rather than an offensive threat.
A recent intelligence assessment has led American officials to believe that a covert team of Iranian scientists is exploring a more rapid, though less advanced, route to developing a nuclear weapon, The New York Times reported Monday.

Luckily us bnei Torah and bnei Yeshiva have the yoke of limmud Hatorah and have nothing to do with Zionism, the medina and most certainly the tuma IDF the avi avos hatuma, it is sad that misguided "frum" people in the Dati Leumi camp and their American equivalent "modernish", modern "Orthodox", "open" Orthodox, YU, Young Israel lehavdil elef alfey havdolos think that this treifa medina has any value. We the real frum guided by the emes Torah and gedoley Yisroel recognize this and await for its imminent collapse.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the daily chizuk from our Hamas spokesperson.
DeleteIf Israel stops giving benefits, the Israeli Roshei Yeshiva will have to come to American and raise 200 million rather than 100 million. Are our gevirim (many who are worth 50 times 200 million) willing to step up to the plate? I doubt it. Are our middle class willing to make small weddings in order to cover the 200 million? I doubt it.
ReplyDeleteIt is much easier to blame secular Israelis for not realizing how Torah protects than actually supporting Torah in Eretz Yisrael ourselves.
We still don't know how the $107 was distributed.
DeleteYou expect them to be fair with it?
As long as there's a zionist stae there will be no rest.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about Zionism that causes it more extreme opponents to become so crazy?
ReplyDeleteZionism pretends to be some parve and even some "empowering" thing but thats its trick, it is worse than Communism because it falsely claims to protect Yidden. Look at Oct. 7th all of this suffering is because the Zionists created a party on a holy day and then refuse to protect us. The sooner Zionism collapses the sooner more frum will come about.
DeleteYou are showing by example how Zionism causes it more extreme opponents to become crazy. You aren't explaining why that happens.
DeleteIt isn't unique to Zionism. More extreme opponents of anything who are constantly obsessing over how terrible "they" usually end up going a little crazy. They always bring out the worst in themselves in the process.
DeleteThe problem is wishy washy centrist moderates
DeleteExtremists at least grasp that this world has a telos
They'll sacrifice their own easier convenience to get us there, even when/if they're erroneous
Extremists rarely have a good grasp on anything. They aren't sacrificing anything. They are using their cause as an excuse to act on their bad middos
