  1. The "new" 24six device under "Lakewood Mechanchim" is actually just the 24six gold with a new label (and a "Vaad"). The "Mechanchim" is Mishor (24six always carried thier haskama very proudly on their website https://24six.app/support/mishor), who deals with challenged teens and had their director and his assistant create a "Vaad" which has 2-3 more people who are involved with challenged youth.
Mishor recently sent out an email from their own Rabbinic oversight that their own "Vaad" is trustworthy.
"Lakewood mechanchim" have continued to express their opinion that continuous entertainment devices are extremely mind numbing and detrimental to children's chinuch.

  2. Just took a 2 piece suit for dry cleaning notice ticket $18.50. Wow this has gone up crazy. Do we start wearing suits which could be washed in the washing machine cold cycle?

    1. Many suits, especially pants, do not need dry cleaning.
If it's not wool or other delicate fabric, it probably can be machine washed, especially if it does not say dry clean only.
You might want to iron it, to keep it's form (and spray starch).
Try it on an old suit.

  3. New sefer came out in English totally exposing the murex techeles for the hoax it is. Too bad a few people in Lakewood fell for it. Should teach us not to jump into something without first going through a sugyah yourself, and not just running after hearsay

  4. Just read the new sefer exposing the bluff of the fake murex techeles. What a scam!!

  5. It's all fake, the murex is neither ARCHILOGICALy or scientificly proven to be the chilazon. Actually is was NEVER used to dye blue in ancient times, only purple. They figured out a way to get a blue dye out of it , and then worked backwards to try twisting and turning to squeeze it into Chazal, even though it is missing many basic criteria of the chilazon.

  6. Some people take this techeiles business quite personally.
It's halachic, learn the sugya and figure out what to do. Then do it. No need to get shrill about it.

This is true for both sides.

  7. we must have the rabbanim, admorim, roshei yeshiva, urge Trump to ORDER Netanyahi to stop arresting the bnei Torah, the olam Hatora in the shmad for the Zionist crime of learning Torah, better to move Netanyahi to the room next to Maduro and put Huckabee in charge until Torah leadership returns.

    2. First learn how USA government works., We dont control Israel. Last is checked they are run by an independent government elected by the people. Last thing the rabonim should discuss is Giyus. Hope they discuss the many issues that are affecting us . High cost of living , how many are struggling. Security for yeshivas.

    3. Why don't you tell President Trump to give the yeshiva boys US citizenship?
So they can come to US and live off food stamps and babysitter subsidies and low cost health insurance.

  11. Who thinks postponing registration for girls schools will help??? It's just going to delay the process. It's going to be same old. Btw those with protektzia will get in right after sukkos like always. Only going to mess things up. Like the playgroup morahs that still ake registration the minute sukkos is over.
