Trump suspends bombing of Iran for 2 weeks.

Trump on Truth Social: Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz, I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks. This will be a double sided CEASEFIRE! The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all Military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive Agreement concerning Longterm PEACE with Iran, and PEACE in the Middle East. We received a 10 point proposal from Iran, and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate. Almost all of the various points of past contention have been agreed to between the United States and Iran, but a two week period will allow the Agreement to be finalized and consummated. On behalf of the United States of America, as President, and also representing the Countries of the Middle East, it is an Honor to have this Longterm problem close to resolution. Senior US official to Al Jazeera: The Pentagon has prepared military plans and our forces are ready - if the president decides to implement his threats against Iran tonight. The Pentagon's plans range from limited strikes to extensive operations against Iran. We will not reveal whether nuclear facilities are among the targets Trump has identified within Iran.

- President Trump to Fox News: The 8:00 PM ultimatum remains in place. If we reach that point, there will be an attack like no other. If negotiations progress today and something concrete emerges, there might be a change, but for now, the ultimatum stands.

- Senior US official tells Fox News this morning, "We are absolutely in touch with (Iran). Absolutely. (The talks) have been positive. If we get lucky, we will have something by the end of the day."

On the contrary, they are intended to weaken and crush the regime of terror that has oppressed them for 47 years.

- Trump said his team is actively trying to identify a leaker who revealed that a pilot was missing, claiming Iran only learned this because of the leak. Amit Segal responds to accusations from several outlets blaming him, denying responsibility and noting that other journalists reported the pilot’s status first. They suggest the claims are driven more by attention-grabbing headlines like “Israeli Journalist Endangers American Pilot” .

Damage was caused in central Israel by cluster submunitions from an Iranian ballistic missile, according to rescue services, impacts in Rosh Haayin, Ramat Hasharon, Bnei Brak and other areas of central Israel
