Iran Israel Updates Wednesday and April 29

- The Israeli Navy has begun to intercept the activist flotilla sailing to the Gaza Strip to challenge Israel’s naval blockade, according to security sources. According to tracking data, the Global Sumud Flotilla  which includes 58 vessels is located near the Greek Island of Crete, hundreds of nautical miles from Israel.

- Trump: "Militarily, we have finished Iran. All they have left is to raise the white flag and simply say 'we surrender'."

- Trump on talks with Iran: "They've come a long way  the question is whether or not they're going to go far enough. There will never be a deal unless they agree that there will be no nuclear weapons."

- The US Navy aircraft carrier Ford will leave the Middle East in the coming days and return to the US, according to the Washington Post

- President Donald Trump has rejected Iran’s proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and lift the U.S. naval blockade in exchange for delaying nuclear negotiations, Axios reports.

Axios: CENTCOM prepared a plan for a "short and powerful" wave of strikes on Iran in hopes of breaking the negotiating deadlock.

- Chairman of the Iranian Parliament Ghalibaf, in a voice message to the Iranian people: "The enemy has entered a new phase: naval blockade, cognitive warfare, economic pressure, and deepening internal division to bring about weakening and even internal collapse. Trump publicly divides the country into camps of extremists and moderates, while simultaneously talking about a naval blockade - to force Iran to surrender through economic pressure and internal division."

- Iran has warned of 'unprecedented military action' against continued U.S. seizures of Iran-linked vessels - Reuters 

-According to the Reuters report, the Revolutionary Guards have taken control of both the military management and the political decision-making process. A Pakistani source said that there is no clear decision-maker, and sometimes Iran requires between two and three days to respond during the talks

- Two  frum Jews stabbed outside Golders Green  shul in London. A knife-wielding assailant attacked two Jews outside a synagogue in London’s Golders Green neighborhood

 The terrorist was detained by Shomrim staff before police arrived, tasered him, and arrested him. One of the victims is in serious condition the other us stable. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer says the stabbing of two Jews in London’s Golders Green is “deeply concerning.”

- US officials say Trump is not willing to drop his demand from Iran - to suspend uranium enrichment for at least 20 years. On Monday, Iran told the US that they need a few more days to consult with Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei to formulate a unified proposal

- WSJ: Trump ordered his advisors to continue the naval blockade on Iran and to continue strangling its economy and oil shipments. Trump believes that the other two options - returning to war or abandoning the conflict - are more dangerous

- The Israel Defense Forces announced it had located and destroyed two major Hezbollah tunnels in the southern Lebanon town of Qantara, which it said were constructed by the terror group with “direct guidance” from Iran.

- The IDF says troops shot dead a Palestinian Hamas terrorist who crossed the Gaza ceasefire line in the Strip’s south earlier today.
