- There is  noticeably less traffic, with emptier roadways as schools were closed, buses were not running, and many families left town for Shabbos Chanukah.

- Minyanim for Mincha all afternoon at Kol Shimshon, Lutzk, and  early  minyanim in all shuls.

- Good idea to leave a fire on with a Blech as power outages are expected.

- Due to the earlier snowstorm this week and the high winds today, it’s a good idea to check that the eruv strings are up before Shabbos.

- The greater adventure chanukah vacation learning program will take place today at Bais Faiga and  participating neighborhood shuls from 10:00 am - 11:00 am ans Sunday morning 10:15 - 11:15 am each boy will receive a prize.

- Lakewood Roshei Yeshiva call on the bnei hayeshiva to be mechazek in the sidrei hayeshiva of Erev Shabbos chanuka and on Sunday

She argues that the program is dangerous and says the individual should not have been allowed into the country. She links this incident to a past terrorist attack in New York City involving a DV lottery recipient and notes that President Trump previously sought to end the program.
