ReplyDeleteWe all heard that already. The question is what exactly happened to the unfortunate passengers. Why couldn't they get out and escape the inferno? Was the impact that hard that they were they all knocked unconscious and they physically couldn't escape? Did the doors lock up and were they trapped?
Actually seeing an official report of the deer makes me believe it more, till now I wasn't sure if they were making it up to make the boys look better
DeleteIts a גזירה from שמים there's no second guessing
DeleteWe need more of a healthy mix and balance of boys in Yeshivos so they don't have to feel disenfranchised by being in a lower level.
ReplyDeleteWhat in the world does this comment mean on here ?
DeleteBecause those on the lower level might end up writing asinine comments on the internet.
DeleteThere was nothing disenfranchised about these bochurim.
That's not what was said. There is a point that bochurim are placed in lower level yeshivos and they keep trying to get into so called better yeshivos. The system makes them feel disenfranchised and not comfortable in where they are.
DeleteThe point was that the boys kept shteigibg to feel belonged in the better yeshivos
It used to be more equal with a healthy balance of boys in all yeshivos
Now it became compartmentalized and boxed in for specific niches. Its all uniformed with the same type. No diversity
in our days, when there was "diversity", the "top'" boys did well and the "shvacher" boys fell through the cracks. that is why the "bais" yeshivos were created.
DeleteIt's just the oppisite. In the 60s and 70s almost all Yehivas accepted everyone and everyone learned in the same school and class regardless of level. It was the push by those who were more interested in learning to have Yeshivas for people on their level that caused the aleph and beis system.
DeleteThe best situation probably ( which wasn't superb either) was those mosdos who used to have a couple or a few levels in the same grades
DeleteNow the litvishe need to go full-on ger
