The Gedolei Eretz Yisrael from the Chassidish, Litvish, and Sefardi Moetzes have issued a joint call to the public ahead of Lag BaOmer:
“The tragedy in Meron four years ago is still fresh in our minds. This year, with Lag BaOmer falling on Erev Shabbos, extra care is necessary.”
We urge everyone traveling to Meron to:
Limit the time spent on the mountain
Avoid crowding and pushing
Strictly follow the instructions of the ushers (sadranim)

Whst a Harry clip
ReplyDeleteWhat a gratuitously not nice comment
DeleteThe video reminds me of the Covid vaccine adds targeting Lakewood.
DeleteYes, that's right. Only Harrys are gullible enough to actually believe in safety and in following rules. A true heimishe ben Torah does not let ANYONE tell him what to do & how to behave. They certainly don't have to believe in such childish issues such as safety. Just look at the driving in Lakewood and you can see that no one wants to be a Harry. Just look at so many issues in the frum world which I won't identify here due to the possibility of causing a chillul Hashem. Those issues show that only Harrys are foolish enough to believe in safety and following rules.
DeleteAs was and is the practice of gedoilei oilam. The Chasam Sofer wrote that he wouldn't go. Rav Elyashiva never went, even not on Lag Baomer. Even big Chasidic Rebbes don't go then (Ger, Vizhntz, Belz, etc.).
