ReplyDeletea.The rich and aggressive get richer or become more respected; anybody who give that up since the collective community is their utmost priority falls below.
b. Our communities are expanding in numbers, but not in real substance.
c. All those who are capable of predicting the coming problems in advance are usually too Maverick, independent, or off mainstream, to receive a normal respected position in the community or as donor, thereby severely limiting their influence.
By contrast at nearly any meeting/conference to resolve a communal/societal problem, the ones in the room are the same people who were completely incapable of predicting that problem; or chose for their convenience to ignore it. Yet they have the positions;wealth to be invited to resolve the problems, that their place in society continue to cause and have cost the rest!

DeleteYep, let's pessimisticly blame everyone else. Perhaps if we wouldn't be so much 'smarter' than everyone else and wouldn't be pessimistic, we would be able to accomplish a lot. Perhaps not at our vision, with our signature and recognition - but that's unimportant. We just want to actually help.
