Violent clash erupts at Delaney Hall. Chaos follows Gov. Sherrill’s ‘peaceful protest zone’ plan. The violent skirmish came hours after Gov. Mikie Sherrill’s administration had the State Police take over public safety at the facility and set up “peaceful protest zones” amid a week of unrest at the federal immigrant detention center in Newark.
Demonstrators outside the facility say they were boxed in between ICE agents and state troopers Friday night. But state officials say State Police acted only after a small group of protesters became disruptive and refused orders.

ReplyDeleteYes. Bussing will be arranged for all who are interested. I actually do know someone who attended both. He also attended both the pro Israel rally in Washington over two years ago but also attends anti-Israel protests over drafting Lomdey Torah, And gives thousands of dollars a year to both causes like Keren Olam HaTorah and causes for reservists and their families. And davens on a daily basis for the safety of Israeli solders and that Lomdey Torah should not be drafted etc. But such people could fit into a single car.
