Thousands of Israelis spend the night in shelters MDA says it is treating three people who were lightly wounded as a result of rocket impacts in the Krayot and Lower Galilee. Several others were treated for acute anxiety or falling over while running to shelters.

- The IDF Homefront Command has placed all communities in Israel from Haifa to the Northern border into a special emergency status.

- Hezbollah launched around a dozen long-range rockets at the Ramat David Air Force Base near Haifa, with most being intercepted, no injuries, and no damage to the base.

US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan called Aqil’s death “a good outcome,”
