Israel At War Monday Sep 2

Israel at war day 332

- Today Labor Day, up to 7,000 demonstrators marched through New York City, including some waving Hamas flags, while others lit flares and set off smoke bombs. The crowd gathered at Union Square and proceeded toward Washington Square Park. protesters shoved NYPD officers aside as the march continued.
The protesters carried Palestinian, Syrian, Iranian, and Hezbollah flags, chanting slogans like “Free Palestine!”

- Israeli Security source: "Hamas managed to restore its capabilities in the northern Gaza Strip". According to estimates, there are currently about 3,000 Hamas operatives who have returned to operating in the northern Gaza Strip and are restoring the terrorist organization's operational capabilities. According to senior officials in the security system: "There will be no escape from a renewed and massive entry of IDF forces into the northern Gaza Strip."

- Netanyahu: On August 28th - that’s five days ago - five days ago - Deputy CIA Director said that ‘Israel shows seriousness in the negotiations. Now Hamas must show the same seriousness.’
I want to ask you something. What has changed in the last five days? What has changed? One thing: these murderers executed six of our hostages. They shot them in the back of the head. That’s what changed! And now after this, we’re asked to show seriousness?! We’re asked to make concessions?! What message does this send Hamas?! It says, kill more hostages. Murder more hostages and you will get more concessions. The pressure internationally must be directed at these killers! At Hamas. Not at Israel. We say ‘yes’. They say ‘no’ all the time but they also murdered these people. And we now we need maximum pressure on Hamas.

- Netanyahu: I don't believe that either President Biden or anyone serious about achieving peace and achieving the release would seriously ask Israel, Israel to make these concessions. We’ve already made them. Hamas has to make the concessions. Thank you very much.

- Netanyahu apologizes for hostages' deaths, defends Philadelphi Corridor decision
To the families of the six hostages, he said, “I ask your apology that we did not succeed in bringing them home alive.”

- Bibi responds to Biden "After a terrible massacre, to change his mind and place the blame on Israel? I can't believe he said that."

- Hamas has just admitted that the terrorists who were in charge of guarding the 6 hostages executed them because the IDF approached the area. Hamas in a written announcement: "We say clearly after the incident in Nuseirat (Operation Arnon), the guards of the prisoners (hostages) were given new instructions on how to treat them if the occupation army approaches the place where they are."

- Netanyahu press conference takeaways: A crystal clear message to Sinwar: no pressure from the US or far-left elements in Israel will change our stance on Philadelphi. No regional war will come and save you. By going public and declaring in front of the entire world that under no circumstances will Israel withdraw from Philadelphi, Bibi has "locked in" that position as a public promise that he can never renege on. Indirectly, Bibi also sent a clear message to the Biden/Harris administration: the aspect of the deal concerning Philadelphi is now non-negotiable. This firm stance leaves no room for further negotiation on this issue.

- A barrage of some 30 rockets was fired from Lebanon at the Western Galilee this afternoon, the IDF says. There are no injuries in the attack,

- President Biden criticizes Prime Minister Netanyahu for delaying Gaza ceasefire and hostage deal urging swift action to finalize the agreement.

- A senior Israeli official answered Biden: "It is strange that the US president is putting pressure on Prime Minister Netanyahu, who agreed to the American offer as early as May 31 and the American mediation offer on August 16, and not on Sinwar, who continues to vehemently refuse any deal. The words of the US president are especially dangerous when they are said just days after Hams executed six Israeli hostages, including an American citizen."

- Netanyahu's now in the cabinet meeting: "We will not leave the Philadelphi corridor, not in 42 days and not in 42 years"

-British Foreign Minister David Lammy: We suspend part of arms exports to Israel; according to our assessment, there is a clear risk that British defense exports are used to lead to violations of international law by Israel. We do not take this decision lightly. We continue to support Israel's right to defend itself.

- Hamas says that they will agree to any deal that guarantees a permanent ceasefire and a full IDF withdrawal from Gaza.

- Biden blames bibi: Journalist To Biden: Do you think it is time for Netanyahu to do more on this issue or do you think he is doing enough? Biden: No

- Journalist Raylan Givens: Biden/Harris "Ironclad support" for Israel includes now giving more aid for Hams, all just to try to hide the fact that their policies killed the hostages, among them an American. Hams just announced that they are pleased and agree with Biden's word that it's Bibi's fault.

-Nikki Haley: How many more of these funerals have to happen before Kamala Harris and Joe Biden start playing hardball and put the sanctions back on Iran? Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis, none of these terror groups take this administration seriously. Cut off their money so the horror stops. #FinishHamas

- Thousands of Israelis attend Hersh Goldberg funeral . Father of murdered hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin at funeral: ‘We failed you. We all failed you’
Rachel, mother of Hirsch Goldberg-Pollin in his funeral: "It's not that Hirsch was perfect but he was a perfect son for me. I am full of gratitude to G-D for giving me the privilege of being Hirsch's mother. I thank G-D for that. I wish I could have won more time with you. 330 days of panic and anxiety have passed. I know you are no longer in danger. You can play chess with Grandpa Stan. How will we live without you?

- A car bomb was found near Atarot. This car bomb was supposed to explode this morning near a kid's bus

- A document that it says shows hostages Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Carmel Gat and Eden Yerushalmi were on a list of “humanitarian hostages” whose release Israel was expecting in the first phase of a potential ceasefire-hostage deal. The three were among six hostages murdered by their Hamas captors at the end of last week
