  1. Anyone know what is going on with camp malka? Rumors of rabbanim advising parents to bring home their children right away unless the camp communicates openly with parents, and parents feel comfortable that there is proper supervision in a safe and healthy atmosphere. Sounds like as of now many kids are going into their 3rd day without their luggage. Food and bedding are in short supply, with much of what little there is, having been brought by very nice baalei chesed. How can a camp be allowed to commandeer 1500 kids and instead of bringing them to camp, they pull a switcheroo and place them in a dumpy hotel without their luggage and without a game plan? Worst is that aside from some 2 line emails full of blatant lies, there is zero communication from the camp, and there is no way to reach them by phone.

  3. Dear Camp Malka Parents,

It is with a heavy heart that we are writing this email.

We have exhausted every avenue possible to provide your daughters with
the summer they deserve. We recognize that we have let down our
parents, campers and staff, and have caused tremendous aggravation. We
    are deeply sorry.

The good news is that today we have received a TCO to house
approximately 450 campers and staff at our Scotland location. Buses
and luggage trucks will be leaving the resort to transport the girls
to our campus in Scotland this evening.

Unfortunately, we can only accommodate our CIT's, TC's and some staff,
but we are not able to place our Sophies, Juniors, Seniors and some
staff. We are in the process of arranging proper transportation to
    bring them home this evening.

We will update you shortly with further details

    With deep regret,
