  1. Satmar spokesman: Rabbi Moishe Indig .... And those who are mad about it? Stay mad. Couldn't he have simply said that Jews, like all Americans, have the legal right to live wherever they choose, and that antisemitic intimidation is unacceptable? What exactly is gained by the defiant rhetoric of "We will build, we will grow, and we will thrive" and "Stay mad"? If a Zionist spokesman had made precisely the same statement to hostile Arabs, wouldn't these very people be the first to condemn it as reckless provocation? Apparently, hisgarus ba'umos is only the worst of all averos (and the case of the holocaust) when when Zionists do it.

    1. By that logic, any community experiencing population growth must be following the correct path, regardless of what it actually believes or practices. The Taliban is growing too...

    2. Obviously Satmar is growing quicker than the Zionists in Tel Aviv. The koach hatumah is always greater than the koach of taharah.

    3. Frankfurter is a Williamsburg guy who has connections with, but not affiliated with, Satmar.
He and his wife got their start working for Mishpacha. They then mysteriously walked off from Mishpacha in 2009.

  8. The 1000.00 fine to the Kibitz room is a joke. If they are selling treif meat, they can recoup the difference in one day's sales....the question is if the state can enforce that the store display prominent signs that they are lhedya NOT Kosher.
