- Channel 13 reports: The drama within Degel HaTorah party Rabbi Meir Tzvi Bergman, the senior rabbinic authority of Degel HaTorah, is refusing to sign today on the removal of Knesset members Moshe Gafni and Uri Maklev. Rav Berel Povarsky, head of the Ponevezh Yeshiva, is also refusing to sign. They believe that ulterior considerations are behind the move to oust Gafni and Maklev.
