- The Iranian news agency 'Tasnim', associated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, was suspended on X, most likely because it posted videos calling for the killing of Trump and the First Lady
- Trump on Iran: "It's going to be straightening out. In the meantime, we're going to be hitting them very hard because it's our term to hit them. We had five rocket shot going 8,500 miles an hour, and all five rockets were knocked out. Down to the ground, but they nevertheless took a shot. So it's our turn."
- Trump was asked about reports of a shipment of 400 shoulder missiles from China to Iran via Pakistan. This is despite China's president promising not to sell weapons to Iran. Trump responds, "That would be surprising. He told me he wouldn't be involved in that. He knows I would be very disappointed if that happened."
- NYT: About 20 Iranian advisors were killed tonight in US and Saudi strikes against pro-Iranian militias in Iraq. According to him, the targeted sites were specifically chosen due to the presence of Iranian advisors and to damage the militias' ability to launch missiles and drones.
- Reuters: A US tanker carrying liquefied gas was struck by a drone off the northern coast of Egypt
- Senior Israeli political figure in a briefing to journalists in Washington: "The decision regarding Iran is in the hands of Trump. Everything is on the table, from an agreement to a significant attack. Iran is well aware that Israel will respond forcefully if it is attacked. Mojtaba Khamenei is certainly alive. Iran currently has approximately 1,500 ballistic missiles."
- President Donald Trump said the U.S. will retaliate strongly against Iran after an overnight missile attack on U.S. forces in Jordan. He called it a surprise attack, said troops had only minutes to intercept the missiles, and vowed that Iran would face a severe military response. The situation remains ongoing.
- The Israeli military says a Hezbollah drone struck an unmanned armored bulldozer in southern Lebanon, describing it as the first such incident since a late-June ceasefire framework. No injuries were reported, and Israel is reportedly considering a response.
