- Ocean county: This morning a suspect allegedly struck an ICE agent with a vehicle and fled. The agent fired at the fleeing vehicle, but the suspect escaped and remained at large as of Monday afternoon. The incident occurred on Route 72 near Mermaid Drive in Manahawkin and prompted a major law enforcement response.

- BDE Petirah of Mrs. Rivka Rubashkin a”h, of Boro Park, at the age of 90. Mrs. Rubashkin was the almana of R’ Avrohom Rubashkin a”h, a pioneer in the kosher meat industry who helped ensure reliable kosher meat availability across the United States. Together, they were also known for operating a kosher deli on 13th Avenue in Boro Park, where anyone in need was welcomed warmly and provided with a meal free of charge. She is survived by her distinguished family, including her son R' Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin, along with other members of the prominent Rubashkin family.
