- Senior US official, in a briefing to reporters: "We signed the agreement with Iran. The President and Vice President signed it. The Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf also signed it
- Axios, a senior US official stated that an Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon is not a condition of the agreement with Iran and that if Hezbollah attacks, Israel retains "the right to self-defense and to respond."
- Trump: "Hopefully, we can resolve the situation in Lebanon as well. Because it's something that never ends. We need to talk to Hezbollah about this"
- Offficial: There will be a signing ceremony on Friday. Vance, Witkoff and Kushner will be there. We have direct contact with officials in the Iranian system, something that hasn't happened in 47 years. Therefore, we understand what they want. The Iranians are agreeing to concessions they did not agree to in the past, and therefore we are agreeing to consider steps we did not agree to in the past"
- IDF drone attack against a car in Lebanon, one dead
-PM Netanyahu expected to deliver statement to Israeli media this evening (Israel time) amid US-Iran deal and growing criticism
- Trump: Ships are starting to move, many loaded up with Oil, out of the Strait of Hormuz. They are going along the Southern “Highway,” which is totally safe, secure, and pristine. There are other areas of travel, also!!! President DJT
- Amit Segal : "If this is the moment of truth, there is only one correct answer to the prime minister’s test: stand up to Trump. As the senior cabinet minister put it, “This is our war, forced upon us, and we must not accept the Iranian equation”—even at the cost of a “sharp confrontation with the president of the United States.” Quite simply, Israel cannot allow its security to be dictated from Washington, and the prime minister who allows that to happen will not be prime minister for long."
- Vice President Vance: The agreement with Iran was already signed online last night. We haven’t released any funds to them — that will only happen if they truly change.
- Mark Levin Here’s an idea: if you want people to stop speculating about the MOU release the MOU. Don’t brief a few anointed ones to control the narrative and expect everyone else to sit silently. That’s not how our country works. It’s going to be signed soon. It takes time for people to digest it all once it is released. Controlling the narrative can only last so long.
- Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Bakaei: Lebanon and the end of the war in Lebanon are an integral part of the ceasefire agreement. Lebanon appears three times in the memorandum of understanding.
-Response by Iran’s Foreign Ministry to Israel’s claim they will not withdraw from Lebanon:
– We know that Israel never takes any action without consultation and direct coordination with America Therefore, we hold America directly responsible if it fails to force Israel to submit to its obligations as part of the MoU, with necessary consequences.
- JD Vance on Iran: We are now speaking directly to the Iranian system. We have some good relationships there. We are not passing messages through backchannels anymore; we are actually talking to them. When you talk to them, you figure out what's real, what's fake, what they're serious about, and what they're not serious about.
- National Security Minister Ben-Gvir: The security of the citizens of the State of Israel comes above all. A sovereign state is not a subcontractor for any superpower. It is not obligated to agreements that seal its ability to defend its people against existential threats.
We must not act under external pressure but rather from our own conscience. Just as a person is obligated to do what is necessary to protect their home, the State of Israel is obligated to do everything to protect its citizens.
- JD Vance on Iran: We are extending an open hand to Iran. If they want to change their relationship with us, we will change our relationship with Iran. That's the offer.
- Trump: effectively allows Iran to enrich uranium. Trump to The New York Times: Iran will only be able to enrich uranium to a low level. We are talking to them about a 15-20-year ban. If an agreement is not reached within 60 days, we will return to war.
- Across Israel, the belief is this is one of the worst agreements ever signed with Iran
. Here are some of the quotes from Israel:
“Trump completely surrendered to Iran
“Any part of this Agreement does not bind us”
“The 2026 Munich agreement”
“Trump saved the Iranian regime”
“All Trump did was sign another JCPOA that pushes the can down the road”
“Trump promotes the worst regimes in the world”
- A senior Israeli to IDF radio: This is a horrible deal for Israel, and everyone from top to bottom thinks so, from the Prime Minister to the IDF Chief of Staff
- Editor of Jerusalem post: If this US-Iran ceasefire/“peace deal” is so good for Israel, where are the Israelis saying so? I’ve been looking all morning. Officials, IDF voices, MKs, analysts, think tanks, prominent media figures.
So far: zero serious Israeli public endorsements.
- qDefense Minister Israel Katz vowed Monday that the Israeli military will remain in southern Lebanon and warned that if Iran strikes, it will be hit “with full force,” promising that Israel will resist any pressure after the US and Iran agreed a deal to end the war that also reportedly includes a commitment to end hostilities in Lebanon.
- Iran claims: The U.S. acknowledged the fact that Iran will be able to collect fees for "maritime services" for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz starting in 60 days, under the service name: "Safety services, navigation, environmental protection and insurance, and using these revenues to promote the country's economic development"
- Authorities in southern Lebanon warn people displaced by three months of war between Israel and Hezbollah against rushing home despite a US-Iran deal to end the wider conflict, as Israel says it will not withdraw troops from the south.
- Smotrich condemns the agreement, calling it “bad for Israel and for the entire free world. Period.”He says that Israel must continue efforts to topple the Iranian regime and ensure Tehran never obtains nuclear weapons, but also defends the government, declaring that none of those running to replace Netanyahu could “withstand even ten percent of the pressure currently being exerted on the Israeli government, and especially on its leader.”
So finally reality hits. Israel realizes it cannot fight Iran without the USA Army personnel equipment and financing. And like Israel the US will not spill the blood for another country. They made an effort to subdue the Iranians and failed and now that Iranian regime are here to stay. They will have to make a piece with it because endless Wars are not the solution.
ReplyDeleteTzahal saved various Muslims like Syrians, Lebanese Christians, Kurds (some of whom are Jewish), Druze, over the decades, for tactical reasons.
DeleteThe first Ani Maamin - Hashem is in charge -Trump is a Puppet
ReplyDeleteAnd by acting so aggressively although arguably warranted they lost the public relations war they came across as the aggressor.... And now they're paying the price
ReplyDeleteIf you mean to say the winner is the aggressor, interesting thought. But then iran is the aggressor.
DeletePerception is what counts. People enjoy winners but Israel and this round definitely didn't win.
DeleteI trust Trump who has Yiddisha enkleich 10 times more than that mehalel Shabbos lobster lover whos 2 sons live a decadent lifestyle, who refuses to save the bnei yeshiva from the IDF/ Zionist shmad. Any agreement that stops war in the Zionist place is good as it takes off the burden of war from Bnei Yeshiva
ReplyDeletePM Netanyahu's daughter is shomeret kashrut shabbat and taharat hamishpacha.
DeleteAnd by the way, he has no power to relieve arikim from Tzahal. His own Likud party opposes him.
You are seriously deranged
DeleteBibi will have to make peace with the Ayatollahs like he made peace with Hamas and Hezbollah. The Zionists once again cannot defeat Muslims, as the Zionists have their "pride" parades and their shmad against Torah and imprisioning bochurim for the crime of learning
ReplyDeleteThis is all subject to the 60 day negotiations which will be extended to past the midterms.
ReplyDeletePresident Trump just wants this out of the way so he can win the midterms with lower oil prices and no boots on the ground.
Then Iran will void the agreement and President Trump can follow up.
Jd vance gets what he wanted, and he gets to sign. Marco Rubio stayed away from this deal...
ReplyDeleteIsrael will act sore and then the US will give it a consolation prize $$$$. That's all they want or can expect.
