- NJ Gov Mikie Sherrill statement on Trump plan to send ICE agents to work for TSA at airports: "Every time Trump gets involved, he creates chaos for the American people. This latest proposal – deploying ICE agents to airports – is no different. Trump’s ICE has a track record of making communities less safe, and sending untrained ICE agents to staff our airports is not an acceptable solution. Instead, it’s time for Donald Trump and Washington Republicans to do their jobs and fund TSA.

Moadim lesimcha is not a distribution- It's a sale at wholesale prices!
ReplyDeleteHuh?
DeleteHow does the customer receive it if it’s not distributed?
how does the customer receive in a grocery store
DeleteIt is charity nonetheless there's a reason why you can't buy retail at wholesale prices there is someone volunteering and covering the costs in order to sell it at wholesale prices...... Time is money.
ReplyDeleteit is not charity (as per moadim lesimacha ). ps volunteering doesnt render it charity..
DeleteCan’t wait for Mikie Sherrill to come to Lakewood and wear a snood. Lol
ReplyDeleteIf Governor Sherril doesn't want iCE at EWR, let her send some State Police (or pay for TSA agents to work).
ReplyDeleteShe'll be reimbursed, just like Elon Musk would be reimbursed.
By the way, let's be happy she dressed somewhat tzniyutdik
Moadim lesimcha is officially wholesale prices but you get better prices going to the sales in the local stores
ReplyDeleteMoadim lesimcha Is just a wholesale pricing system. It’s a big Chesed by the organizers and some people get their bill paid but it’s not a Chesed case or case of people taking tzedaka. Rather it’s people gathering together and refusing to be ripped off in the other stores for pesach products
ReplyDeleteBeing a recipient of someone else's hard work= tzedoko. Just because some sale prices might be cheaper they are simply loss leaders to get you into the store and pay regular price for the rest of the items you are buying some stores actually have rules that you cannot buy the sale items unless you buy other items too. You are not getting ripped off for paying for someone else's parnossa people work hard to keep a business going and you as a beneficiary of the business pays them a profit that's the way the world we live and works. If it were possible to charge less and make enough money someone would try it and get everybody's business. Obviously it's not possible.
Deletere ''Being a recipient of someone else's hard work= tzedoko''- that is a false statement. simple question for you is benefitting from bikur cholim or the like taking tsedokah? tsedokah is money that is given to poor people, tsedokah is not benefitting from someone's volunteering to do work to sell food at wholesale prices. similarly if one is sick and someone works hard to visit him he isnt receiving tsedokah ...
DeleteI'm really sorry but if you're a smart shopper you will realize that products on sale in local stores tend to be cheaper than moadim lesimcha. Yes you have to go to a few different stores to get the better pricing but hey that's what us middle class have to do to make yt!!!
