  1. IMHO A store that requires non sale item purchases to get the sale price should not be included.. Can we get Kosherwest on the list?

    2. Quite simple
They are not sure the staidum will be filled.
They need bochurim to want to show up too.
And the next week is an off Shabbos usually.

  4. What is the difference between the Aderee Torah "EVENT" and a concert?

  5. Real Bnei Torah know better than to attend concerts in stadiums to honor nothing.
Sadly, some people are hoodwinked into doing things that make no sense, because they don't know the answer to 'hakaras hatov' claims.

  6. It’s becoming embarrassing how much nonsense is being pushed out in nonstop fake, clickbait letters on websites. It’s insulting to the intelligence of the Lakewood community. Why do people keep falling for this garbage, over and over again? These pieces are clearly designed to provoke questioning Yiddishkeit and mesorah under the guise of “discussion,” and often throwing in sensational or inappropriate topics dressed up as concerns about tznius. All it shows is how shallow frum media has become, constantly competing for clicks instead of maintaining standards.

    1. Firstly the woman in the story was dressed like Chariedi and a resident of Modin Ilit so I highly doubt she is a secular woman. Secondly some elements of the the Chareidi world try very hard to force their way of life on others and on principle harass others who were born as tonokos shnisba. Why shouldn't a Tinok Shnisba who grew up in that atmosphere feel the same way in the oppisite direction?

    2. So we fully agree. Excellent.
Don't know which religion you claim to smokescreen practice, mine however based on the Bible fully propounds collective communal coercion.
Guess it is the only way to bring Redemption. cf. Going out of Egypt!

      Truth compels obligation.

Were you to attempt to challenge:Truth will bring people around on their own volition.
Answer: In pure vacuum it will. But it doesn't exist.
We continue to suffer in a world that "A lie will travel halfway round the world, while the truth is still putting in socks on"

    3. Where does your Bible fully propound collective communal coercion without a psak from and then under supervision of Beis Din? Where does it tell random people on the street to run around doing such things? Maareh mokomos please. And I know this will be difficult for you but try to give them without attempting to blur things by trying to give insults.

Insert: The whole concept of communal Cherem that was observed in Europe

    7. Like I thought I would get vague answers at best . Actually the whole ponderance of Nach is probably the biggest proof against your beliefs about what the Bible says. Even the kings who were the biggest Tzadikim and have explicit pesukim saying they did all that was right and correct in they eyes of Hashem for the most part did not remove all the Bamos and all the Avodah Zora in EY that was going on during their time . The Meforshim explain it was because they were scared that doing so would backfire. Kal V'Chomer some loafer on the street who is no Tzadik and no Melech with any authority over anyone else. Rav Reuven Grozevsky in his kuntress on Rashyim and Mumrim repeatedly says that all things written in Chazal about taking actions against evil doers are only true when there is a clear reasonable chance that such efforts will actually lead to them acting better.

    8. 1.There is a world of difference between a newer Poretz Geder viz a viz a previous status quo. 2. & "because they were scared that doing so would backfire."WHICH combined are the only alibi tolerated. Anything less than that excuse would have been excoriated & punished severely

How come the avg. good righteous jew was punished during the churbanos?cf.Kovetz maamarim
Acc.to your idoctrination only the elite should have been punished. If even them?

"would get vague answers at best"- "but try to give them without attempting to blur things by trying to give insults". Indeed.

RRG lying down the middle of the soccer field to force them to stop them from playing on Shabbos-WHICH per your agenda accomplished nothing other than getting him arrested
REM Bloch potching a mechallel shabbos in the face -which accomplished nothing (other than necessitating him eventually to flee)

    9. You aren’t being clear enough to respond so I’ll say one thing. There is a world of difference between protesting in a manner that will only get YOU biizyonis and tzaros like the examples you allege and protesting in a manner that just makes into a bully. A Tzadik rodef Rosha but without the Tzadik part...That is what most protesters are today.

    10. Acc.to your idoctrination only the elite should have been punished. If even them?Based on your sources you are clearly the indoctrinated one. They are limited exclusively to what you see you kanoi propaganda. But I was once indoctrinated just like you. I truly believed what I was told about the "Zionists" and how we are supposed to view with and deal with them. Three things that caused my disillusionment and current strong opposition to that haskafa were (1)seeing the destructive affects it had on the people who drank too much of that propaganda (2)seeing how the supposed "nirdofim" acted at hafganos and other interaction with "Zionists" and (3)learning Sefer Melochim with Chazal and the Rishonim on it . I mention learning Sefer Melochim only because it was criminologically last in my life

      Delete
    11. 3:21
Enough with projecting your own persistent inadequacies.

      a. The topic had nothing to with "Zionists" specifically, & yet nonetheless you desperately needed to fall back on that topic for some simplistic pejorative impact!

      b. You are still completely indoctrinated.Proof?
      How predictable are you .
The powers that be embedded it part and parcel of the system's horizon: When you're young you are subtly directed to narrowly start on one side of the spectrum -which you surmise was on your own accord. Totally.
Then as you get older they have been subtly maneuvering & manipulating to shift you somewhat to the other-which again you will surmise of your own accord!
Works like a charm. The cemetery is full of people like that
"There never was anything so perilous or so exciting as orthodoxy. It was sanity: and to be sane is more dramatic"
A real independent mind battles it through the ideologies of different stages and sticks consistently throughout to what they inherently sensed from the very beginning.
      Ask all the greatest statesman.

      Delete
    12. Can you tell something you have written that you believe was not predictable? Something that highlights your "independent mind"? I haven't seen you write anything that I haven't heard and seen preached before.

      Delete
    13. Research shows that women are more likely to shift across the spectrum over the course of their life, more than men. Likely based on being more emotional. Not something to be overly proud of.

A very wise distinguished man adjured me decades ago to make sure to learn Yeshaya,Yirmiya,Trei Asar,BEFORE you learn Melochim
ipso (3) wasn't criminological. Many of our greatest eg Netziv
were opposed to young people learning it. [Sometimes even those who are older].
Also that is one of the reasons for the strange tune when we lein haftara. Difficult & impolite as it is to say thus it isn't necessarily for hoi polloi, at least until they're much more mature.

  11. 5:57,

Yiddishkeit was always viewed primarily as the collective incumbence /observance on the national community, rather than just the individual. That is, prior to its recent reorientation / reinvention in the 20th century.
Their upholding Shabbos is more important than your Mussaf.

On top of that, Zionism promoted it's cause that Jewish practice shouldn't any longer be under local rubrics, rather Jewish practice must be organized under larger National joint undertakings.
Bialik, for example, insisted emphatically the new Yishuv must promote & keep Shabbos in public-even while he himself was a private mechallel shabbos

Would be wise to get your basic facts before you propagandize.
