With all the swing state polls so close, literally anything could happen.. including a narrow Trump or Harris win, or a landslide Trump or Harris win. My gut says Trump could end up winning big

Video: Anouncment of new leadership in yeshiva Chaim Berlin
Call weisberg ask him to apologize for calling innocent lakewood fathers and mothers "Bad Apples"
ReplyDeleteCall weisberg ask him to disclose how much money his lcsc gets from Lakewood tax payers or from LDC in which he is on the board
The chutzpah of him to call and dictate to us who to vote for while he dosent disclose his financial dealings with lakewood tax payers money
Moshe Velvel you don't own us stop disrespecting us and insulting our intelligence
Same goes to Benny Heineman please talk to us like a normal respectable human being and explain why anyone should vote for your personal recommendations
You are not controlling us we are not your workers
Apparently MZW, also known as “George Washington” was up all night monitoring the scoop, calling those who disagree with the vaad ‘clowns’ and accusing them of lashon hara. Shows they have absolutely nothing to say to defend themselves.
ReplyDeleteThe 2 vaad bullies literally think they are talking to ill informed yeshiva guys like they did 30 years ago while not realizing that lakewood today is a city with people of all ages. Disgusting that we don't hear a word from these 2 clowns all year, yet they come out of hibernation to dictate the community who to vote for in the most disrespectful way like talking to a 2 year old.
ReplyDeleteThere was an unusually long Moetzes meeting And at the endit was decided that the theme for the convention will be believers. Now each and every Moetzes member can only speak about this specific topic At the convention. Of course the Doctor's ,lay leaders and Other machers need to tow the line too.
ReplyDeleteIs breaking news!
And now all we need to do is roll up our sleeves and get some tickets sold so we don't have an empty auditorium.
Agudath Israels MIA during this moat crucial era for frum jews will haunt them.

Rav Elya Ber, the chasidishe communities are all involved with this election giving guidance and direction, agudah is busy with their convention and lakewood event last week which sadly didn't fill up
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe what a mistake Mister X made by allegedly having noncitizens, reportedly illegal aliens, distribute flyers at the polling booth yesterday, and illegally within 100 feet of the Township building entrance in violation of N.J.S. 19:34-15 to boot.* This funny guy preyed upon our youth and newcomers who were not in Lakewood long enough to know that there was a time that yungeleit and chashuve b’nai Torah used to help get out the vote. He could not even find cheder kids, or mesivta bachurim, to pass out the flyers that he printed up! LOL He needed to use laborers who have no clue or concept of the oilam ha’Torah (or even America). This is just another blessing in disguise. Since I started in 2014, there has been nothing less than siyata d’shmaya.
BTW A recent New York Times Poll found that ‘Immigration’, and “American Democracy” are the two biggest issues that America is concerned about. I mean what is the BOE election all about if not the expression of da’as ha’rabbim in our kehilla? Who would use migrants to pervert that da’as by confussing newcomers at the last minute? The Vaad had to hold its nose endorsing the BOE incumbants this year and last year, and in no way whatsoever ch"v authorized this insult to the kehilla.
Aaron Lang
* “[I]t takes approximately 15 seconds to walk 75 feet . . . .[last] seconds before citizens enter the polling place should be their own, as free from interference as possible. ” In re Attorney General's, 402 N.J. Super. 118, 130 (App. Div. 2008).
The early voting numbers are low the olam has to come out and vote for Trump in high numbers just to show Avi Schnall that his talk at the DNC convention was full of bunk. He said that lakewood voters flipped from the 2020 election by voting for Trump as Republican and flipped last year by voting for him as a democrat.
ReplyDeleteWell now we will show him that we are not Democrat supporters and only voted for him after a million dollar campaign if bullying the community and rabbonim to support his candidacy because of tuition relief. Which is now a full year later and nothing absolutely nothing was done
The only thing you need to tell Schnall is that Lang is going to win. I'm sorry guys, but America always pulls through even the worst of time. And there is only so much a president can do to mess things up. American will endure no matter who wins. So therefore, the presidential election really is not as important to us personally as the BOE election. You all know what is riding on it. "Duh, most of my home value?"
DeleteCorrection. The 1860 election was a disaster. But that was the only election that after which the nation did not endure.
DeleteI remember that. 1860 was a year I am happy not to repeat. But considering that Reb Yisroel Salanter and the Ruzhiner were still alive then, maybe it was a good year.
DeleteI can't remember.
Funny
DeleteJust read all of the condescending comments by Moshe Z Washington on the scoop and you see who the vaad really is and how they value the tzibbur by calling anyone questioning them “Shallow minded clowns”
ReplyDeleteA bunch of men who enriched themselves off lakewood resources on the backs of the poor lakewood families calling us clowns and using lashon Hora to shut us up. Sorry the Torah and chazal speak up very strongly i with severe consequences against people in positions of power who take advantage and make money off it. There is no mechila for the gneivas daas the abuse of the bloc vote and the high taxes and hours wasted in traffic
ReplyDeleteThey should be ashamed if themselves
For what they have done.
Schnall and singer announcing expansion of rt 9 with gas tax money too little too late the problem is not rt 9 anymore and where's the tuition relief
ReplyDeleteListening to a self appointed vaad that was never elected by the tzibbur and where its members have financial gain from the tax money is a serious shailah if you are causing other yidden to pay for it
ReplyDeleteNot a shaila at all
DeleteI read a lot of criticism of Rabbi Weisberg. I don't agree. He tried to help bring the bosses onboard from the beginning. He even told the naysayers to resign. You can't hold it against him if he does not have the power to compel them to think like men and not to act like squirrels. Lakewood is all about shteller, which in politics, is turf. But what about the turf of the rabbim? That is why we have elections.
DeletePlease clarify what you are saying
DeleteY'all don't know what I went through with this upside-down town. There is no leadership. No mayor. Township Committee will not interfere with the BOE even if it is a matter of whether the town survives. Weisberg really tried and he did not stop until I stopped talking to him or anyone in the establishment when they took the governor's side in the last election without speaking to me first as promised.

Prof. T thinks Lang’s work is “brilliant”.
So LETS JUMP ON THE BANDWAGON AND GET THIS GOING TO THE GOALPOST!!!
Since the lawsuit obviously has merit, why not bring Lang onto the team? This is his life and he has immersed himself in all the issues. Why not bump him up slightly in the District (he is already an employee) so that he can do 90+% of the work as an employee of the District?
Let’s cut to the chase.
“Our” attorneys are asleep at the wheel with their million dollar fees and Lang got this going on his own on a shoestring and virtually no help from the establishment. Why should we pay hundreds of thousands for some clueless outsiders to second guess his work? It will only delay and stiffl e his efforts. Just let them do a simple review AND SIGN ON. Ditto for the Township attorney. Enough of this stalling… Give the man his due and Kadima with the lawsuit.
Mosdos – this this our hope for long-discussed formula change . Signed, sealed and delivered. If we can’t get our own BOE and Township behind it, then we really blew it and should all hand in our resignations…

Agreed.
What a buzayon that the rabbonim In Lakewood have no say in running the town are are bullied by old time bullies of כל דאלים גבר who paid and gave perks to media outlets so they have a platform to bellitle and מטיל אימה על הציבור
ReplyDeleteSo which cookies sold more -- and how many each? Red 🍒 or Blue 🔵?
ReplyDeleteOnce heard from a powerful fakewood askan that the township money is there for the taking and if we don't take it the eino yehudis will so therefore he justified the taking of it, but his negius in getting it should disqualify him from being an askan That directs the funding to him. For that he can act just like the einom yehudi
ReplyDeleteThe VAAD as seen from Rabbi Weisberg comments are sheker. No, Dr Cohen, Rabbi Bloch and others are not involved in the VAAD. Maybe 20 years ago. Now it is is operated by BP who has the power of printing and distributing the propaganda and Rabbi Weisberg. Who do they represent?
ReplyDeleteTrue or false the campaign of 'mitza lioshmoah divrai chachomim' for the VAAD endorsed cadidates? Which chachomim endorsed them? The letter from roshai yeshivas are from last year (Avi Shnall)and all it says is to vote as it is important.
True of False is it appropriate to distribute VAAD voting material to people waiting online to vote?
True or False did any of federal or state funding intended for taxpayer improvement actually help taxpayers or did it go for Avenue of Americas and the Georgian Court BMG project?
True or false did any of Lakewood taxpayers see a reduction in taxes or tuition because of the last recomendation of the VAAD?
Tru or False did any taxpayer have the ability to attend in person an actual Lakewood Township Committe meeting? (It is virtual, they dont have enough respect for us taxpayers to actually have an in person meeting, most probably the only town in NJ that does this)
It is time for an actual association to represent the taxpayers.
Make you own decisions as who you should vote for on local level. Vote for people who actually care about the taxpayer and the renters. There are choices. Choice wisely.
The BIGGEST bizyon is that this person has such a low opinion of the rabbim that he don't think it is not even worthwhile to show up at the polling places 100 feet away on his own to engage the voter in intellectual or rational discussion, like any other citizen that feels strongly about a candidate, but to send illegal immigrants that have no idea of our laws or what they are doing.
ReplyDeleteThere is no greater insult to the ben Torah, to the citizen, or to America. SHAME on you to hire migrants ignorant of the American way, to tell us who you want us to vote for. You can't' find a single ben Torah to send to the polls for you to pass out flyers? You have no one to engage the oilam? If I catch one of these nebuch peons who knoweth not what they are doing, I am going to find out who sent him. This is a bigger disgrace than Springfield, Ohio. Someone should tell President Trump. He will have good time talking about it. Better story than the dogs and cats and a more important reason, yes our elections are more important than dogs, for cracking down on undocumented immigrants. A L
I take back saying "cracking down on undocumented immigrants." It is the citizen that hired them who was wrong. We have to have compassion.
DeleteWhat are you going to do? Take away parents from kids in our district and other NJ districts? Of course not. Neither will Trump or any president. There might be some program to deport but the states will not allow the federal government to do it on a massive scale, even though it does have the plenary power, after the states spent all that money educating their children born in America, maybe $200,000 or $300,00 each, and were brought up American, and then kick the parents out knowing that the kids will follow them?
The avla is not the misinformed voters of Lakewood but the avla is that in a Torah town we allow a corrupt system of a so called vaad to control the town and have everyone fooled that they are looking out for them when in reality they abuse their power and divert the public funds and resources for themselves how they are not scared of Shamayim for this organized system is beyond comprehension and for the rabbinic leadership to stand idly by playing innocent is sad and not excusable and every misspent dollar will vhave to be repayed to the taxpayers one way or the other
ReplyDeleteYou have to realize that the biggest rabbanon are on the yeshiva parole. They are recused because they have a conflict of interest because of their jobs. They do want us to win.
