- The death toll from hurricane Helene continued to climb. Hundreds remained missing across the region. Nearly 100 people were killed across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, The Associated Press reported.

Tomorrow Rav Aaron Schustal shlita will deliver a shiur Khali in BMG as the next generation phases into the Hanhala  and he will assume the title of R"M. Je's the oldest son of the Rosh yeshiva Rav Dovid Schustal shlita and a son in law by Rav Aharon Dovid Dayan Dunner from London.

- Atzeres Tefila on Gezeiras Giyus will take place in Lakewood with tens of thousands expected to attend braving the wet weather. The event will start with mincha at 1:30pm and end at 3pm sharp. There will be minyanim for mincha in all botei medrash of BMG. The atzeres will take place at the municipal lot between Clifton Ave and Lexington Ave at 10th and 9th st the dais will be on the Lexington side. Road closures in the area. Ladies will be on 11th st between Lexington and Monmouth.

Many kids still out of school in the greater Lakewood area. Some say the number is up to 50! This includes girls from primary through 12th grade who are waiting to go to school, and girls from which includes new families that have moved in. 5-10 girls still waiting to get into primary and girls from a high school that closed its doors 2 weeks ago.
