A yeshiva where everyone is accepted no rejection letters sent
Once a year people can feel good knowing their kids are accepted to a yeshiva without the worries and shame of rejection. Even Rechnitz would support it. A Yeshiva where anyone can come and learn anytime of the day no questions asked. No one looks at the hat you wear or if you wear one no one looks at the color of your shirt. As a matter of fact you can wear the most colorful shirt in the world without a trace of white at all and still be accepted. There is no shortage of space at all you can choose any of their many satellite locations. No other parents will call the menahel not to take your child in. Tznius issues are overlooked. "Its a feeling I cant describe" said a proud father whose fridge is covered with rejection letters he received over the years from Kindergarden through high school. Yeshivas Mordechai Hatzadik is one of a kind and at least one day a year in Lakewood all are accepted. The real Simcha of Purim.
Do they accept girls too? Or is that asking too much?

Deleteanyone who hangs rejection letters on his fridge has issues
ReplyDeleteSo what you are saying is that we can only be accepting of everyone one day a year, and that's a good thing? Do we only give tzedaka one day a year. Surely many of us drink more than only one day a year. Perhaps we can use this post as as the goal we should all strive towards. To love every Jew. To respect every human being. No matter what. An amazing challenge, but why take the easy way out? What I witnessed the other night at the town hall was discouraging. The amount of people that, without knowing any details, simply believed the lies spread by those that benefit financially, and hurt others in their path. That is the same attitude many have in schools and yeshivas. They are quick to judge others and believe what a few angry, perhaps jealous people will tell them. I wish there was a way to get through to those people. But after this past Tuesday night I saw that no rational explaining, no smiles, Or sense of humor can turn these people around.
ReplyDeleteThere are many amazing, caring, honest people in Lakewood. Unfortunately they don't make as much noise as those that like to spread hate.
Hate always wins.
Until the coming of Moshiach, may we be zocheh to see its arrival in our days.
I call them zombies
DeleteDid u hear that dude who claims to be in the kollel who said that it cant be that bagel nosh should be happy because he and his friends go there to eat! Seriously, are these guys really learning in a choshen mishpat kollel? Hashem yerachem.
DeleteHh is glucks lawyer the same lawter for those who are opposing the expansion of rabbi helbergs shul in westgate?
ReplyDeleteYes Gazirowski. The worst lawyer ever. Never won a case until now. And only because we let him win. We actually had to coach him on what to say in order to win. He will lose the Westgate court case. It is getting approved at the next meeting. Now they definitely have to approve it they just approved a "shul" which is really a Kollel based on promises and no real parking of its own, in an area thatcan, and has, hurt businesses across the street. It's a free for all now.
DeleteAt least the one good thing that will come of this is that the families in Westgate that actually need a shul, will finally get one.
Westgste maybe will win but this case set the precedence for lying to the township in regards to building usage. Its going to open season from now on. This town is doomed az long as you have the current corrupt officials and politicians.
