- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says Tehran has presented Washington, through intermediaries, with a seven-day plan aimed at ending the war. Under the proposal, if certain conditions are met, Iran would reopen the Strait of Hormuz by the end of the seventh day, followed by comprehensive negotiations with the United States over Iran’s nuclear program.
- Two IDF reservists were killed Thursday after a small explosive drone they were operating in the Gaza Strip crashed for an unknown reason and exploded shortly afterward, the military announced on Friday. The troops were named as Nadav Kali, 24, from Har Chalutz, and Ofek Moalem, 23, from Yerushalayim.

- The Israeli military warns that it will continue to target Hamas members involved in financing the terror group’s military wing. Since the start of the war, the IDF says that it has killed 16 “key” Hamas financial officers, involved in transferring more than $1 billion in funds to the terror group and financing its military activities, “using a network of dozens of money changers in Turkey and the Gaza Strip.”
- Two Hamas operatives, including a terrorist who invaded Israel on October 7, 2023, and held hostages in captivity, were killed in Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip earlier this week, the military announces.
- The IDF says it is bolstering forces across all fronts ahead of the Sukkot holiday, following similar moves conducted ahead of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
