- The forecast track for a powerful nor’easter storm expected to bring high winds and tidal flooding to the Jersey Shore has shifted closer to the coast, with more widespread wind and rain possible inland through early Sunday. “The main impacts of the approaching storm still look to be primarily for marine and coastal-land areas, with tidal flooding and strong gusty wind “However, the forecast for the inland winds has increased, and northerly winds gusting 30-45 mph are forecast to occur as early as tonight through Shabbos night.”
