- Giyus: Organizers from the Bnei Torah faction have postponed planned process today against the IDF draft after negotiating with IDF Military to release all bochurim that were recently arrested. They said if there's no action the hagganos will continue in full strength.

- New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill says the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has agreed to restore family visitation at the Delaney Hall ICE detention facility in Newark.
Starting today, limited visitation will resume at noon, and regular visitation hours will be restored beginning tomorrow.
Law enforcement will help escort families into the facility.
- Prominent rabbonim will convene this evening in Bnei Brak to discuss the continuation of securing budget allocations for yeshivas. Participating will be the leaders of Degel HaTorah, Rav Dov Landau and Rav Moshe Hillel Hirsch, the Rebbes of Gur and Vizhnitz, and Sephardic rabbonim.

- New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani said the city will provide security for participants and protesters during the Israel Day parade scheduled for Sunday in Manhattan.
Speaking this week, Mamdani said his administration is committed to protecting public safety while upholding the right to peaceful protest. He also highlighted city efforts to combat antisemitism and said Jewish New Yorkers should feel safe and welcomed in the city.

And the newspaper Yidden, who follow signs like sheep because their Torah has not taught them the difference between תכלת and קלא אילן, will be off to concerts at stadiums to hear דרשות של דופי interspersed with songs and a little Torah לטהר את ה.... בפשיטת טלפיים

Yeshiva people once knew the difference between what is appropriate for street people and what is appropriate for Beis Hamedrash people. Someone smashed down the walls between the two, and it is more difficult to discern the mechitza. But it is there for someone who wants to find it.
There's always been those among us who know better than the Chachmei Hador, Roshei Yeshivos, Rabbonim etc. going back to the times of Moshe Rabbeinu. Little good has ever come from them.
