- Giyus: Protesters breached a police station in Bet Shemesh after a bochur was arrested for draft dodging and held at the  station. Many were arrested clashing with police

- At the Keren Olam Hatorah meeting of gedolei Yisroel today in Bnei Brak Rav Dov Landau said we were persecuted for years but the Torah is eternal. Rav Shaul alter shlita was in attendance.

- Last day for early voting in the primary elections. Lakewood Township hall open until 6pm. The general elections are this Tuesday June 2. Two frum candidates on republican ballot for township committee R' Aaron Hirsch and R' Moshe Raitzik running against the incumbent Tiwnahip committee members.

- Giyus: Organizers from the Bnei Torah faction have postponed planned process today against the IDF draft after negotiating with IDF Military to release all bochurim that were recently arrested. They  said if there's no action the hagganos will continue in full strength.

In other cities theree were some welcome home kabolas Panim event with singing and dancing for bochurim who were released from military prison.

- New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill says the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has agreed to restore family visitation at the Delaney Hall ICE detention facility in Newark.

Starting today, limited visitation will resume at noon, and regular visitation hours will be restored beginning tomorrow.

Law enforcement will help escort families into the facility.

- Prominent rabbonim will convene this evening  in Bnei Brak to discuss the continuation of securing budget allocations for yeshivas. Participating will be the leaders of Degel HaTorah, Rav Dov Landau and Rav Moshe Hillel Hirsch, the Rebbes of Gur and Vizhnitz, and Sephardic rabbonim.

- Authorities are investigating multiple unusual incidents in Brooklyn after more than a dozen people were spotted climbing into and out of sewer manholes, police said Friday. officials said a group of eight people descended into the sewer system near Heyward Street and Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg  and another  seven people were seen  entering a manhole  in Gravesend section of Brooklyn 

- Newark’s mayor said he will enact an emergency curfew in the half-mile area surrounding Delaney Hall

- New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani said the city will provide security for participants and protesters during the Israel Day parade scheduled for Sunday in Manhattan.

Speaking this week, Mamdani said his administration is committed to protecting public safety while upholding the right to peaceful protest. He also highlighted city efforts to combat antisemitism and said Jewish New Yorkers should feel safe and welcomed in the city.
