  5. The no turning from them to central is so overly STUPID! Evryone should continue to ignore it

    1. It was the smartest thing. Did you notice that traffic coming north is now 10 times faster than before? The positive impact is a lot bigger and affects a lot more people than the inconvenience for those who now have to turn on James instead of Central.

  6. Really??? pple who live down central and need to travel this route a few times a day lose 10+ minutes each time actually more because there's already traffic on james so probably 15 min. That's multiple times a day. Multiply that but 100's of people. Do you realize how much more time is being wasted???? Someone will have to give a din v'cheshbon upstairs. The people who allowed all the building and construction down the 9 should come up with a better plan than the no turning. It made a mess out of every other artery in the neighborhood. I guess you don't live down central or don't travel this way too often.

    1. You are so selfish you cannot see past your little worldview
Until now 2-3 cars were able to turn onto Central Ave per light. Now with the 2nd straight lane there about 20 additional cars per light
So the needs of 2-3 cars against 20 cars

    2. You're out of your mind
I travel James St daily it's never 15 min of traffic. I actually used to use it to get to Central in order to avoid the Rt 9 traffic
Before this change, Rt 9 was easily 20 min of traffic from Prospect to Central
      30 min from Chestnut

    1. just like they should ignore the car that hits them, the ambulance that comes to take them to the hospital Ch"V, the police that write them a ticket, the doctor visits and bills, the therapists, and the higher insurance costs.
      Ignorance is bliss!!
