Road closures again in Lakewood at Rt 9 Central intersection affecting all those heading back home from Yeshiva after Adirei HaTorah event
Insane traffic again tonight. Roads were closed all over with no clear detours or advance warnings.
ReplyDeleteIt is way past time for a change in this town’s leadership.
Whoever is running against the current leadership needs to do a much better job getting their message out. The average resident doesn’t even know who the candidates are, myself included.
There is a lot of frustration out there, but frustration alone does not win elections. If these candidates want to be taken seriously, they need to introduce themselves, explain their vision, ask the public for support, raise funds, and give residents a real way to get involved.
If the current challengers aren’t prepared to run a serious campaign, then perhaps other qualified people should step up. There are plenty of residents who would support meaningful change if they were given a credible alternative and a clear way to participate.
For obvious reasons, I’m not looking to put myself out there publicly, but if there were a way to connect with serious candidates who are committed to improving this town, I would be willing to help. I’m sure many others would too.
