  1. The Stutchin Rebbe, Rav Mottel Silber, shlita, will host a Chanukah celebration tonight at the Yeshiva Ketana hall in Lakewood. He is not the Stuchiner Rebbe That title belongs to R' Eliezer Yudkowsky Shlita. He himself doesn't let you call him Stuchiner Rebbe.

  2. My dear Mark Levin & friends,

    1. Not that I would dream of telling Trump that he is Jewish but if you are discussing chanfua. From an halachic viewpoint Aggripas was no more Jewish than POTUS. But those who told him otherwise during Hakhel did mean he was in a Halachic sense. Whereas Levin certainly did not when talking to Trump. Those who told Aggrippas he was Jewish were encouraging him to violate Halacha (the main issue with chanufa) Mark Levin was not. I do have issues with people telling non-Jews there are Jewish in any context but it is not always chanufa.

    2. It wasn't chanifah. It was his way of saying "Thank you Mr President for being the best president ever for Yidden."

    3. Um agripas was Jewish! Problem was מקרב אחיך תשים עליך מלך ולא עבד

    4. Although I am not usually a fan of Mr/Mrs Cohen, here he/she is correct.

Levin thinks it is a compliment to call someone Jewish. For a goy, even Trump, it is not. It is impossible for a Yid, even a not so Yeshivishe one like Levin, to understand. But that was a foolish thing to say.

    5. President Trump LOVES chanifa.
Definitely an exception to the rule.
In fact, if you don't, he'll hold it against you.

  3. Lakewood B"H has no problems with Shidduchim, kids not getting accepted to schools, divorces, poverty, depression, kids on busses for hours, no busses, overpriced housing, cholim, OTD, bums roaming the streets, fancy upscale overpriced clothing stores and restaurants..... Na, we are all good. We only have one problem. God forbid theres a MBC concert in Jackson. That would be so catastrophic, all those attendees will come home and take off their yamulkas and start fressing Chazir. Sheesh.

    2. Please refrain from attacking Daas Torha, you can lose your olam haba for this. Do not question daas Torah

    3. I’m not someone who cares if there are concerts in Jackson but If all the other problems you mention would just need a kol koreh to get rid of them you can be sure that would have been done. Long ago. It is a standard argument that you hear all the time “they are worried about “A” what about “B” that is so much more serious? Among other things I’ve yet to hear that comparison made when “B” (1) was not a lot more difficult of an issue to tackle than “A” and (2) there was not in fact a lot more effort that was put into “B” and continues to be done. But it simply is too difficult to get rid of completely.

  4. I don't think Rav Aharon would be thrilled about all these Chassidish Tishen all over Lakewood. That was also not his vision for his Ir Hatorah.

  5. I am glad a kol koreh has been made as there is no heter whatsoever to any concerts or music, if you need an "outlet" go take a walk around the block and get back to gemara, in my yeshiva days no one had these notions of outlets.
