Matzeivos of Harav Levi Yitzchak of Bardichev and His Three Sons Located recent excavation work done during the corona epidemic in the ohel of Harav Levi Yitzchak of Berdichev, zy”a, has revealed the original matzeivah (tombstone) of Rav Levi Yitzchak and his three sons. They were located in what was the original ohel of these tzaddikim for 120 years, until it was destroyed in the holocaust.  With this revelation, it seems that in the past, people have been davening in the wrong location, and may have actually been standing on top of the matzeivah while davening.(Hamodia)

  1. The world keeps getting crazier and crazier

Really now, 100 boys chanting in Lakewood is going to trivialize the larger moment in the United States???????????

  2. Terrible how the kids are trivilzing the great and respectful BLM movement with their chants.:)

  3. The same way we would be upset if there people used Nazi chants towards reasonable police actions . Oh wait... unzurer already do that to ourselves in EY and in NYC.

What happened to our seichel? The chants of those kids were disgusting, a chillul hashem and also lacking any seichel for many reasons.

    1. The chants of those kids was music to my ears. What a wonderful kiddush hashem how our youngster showed the world that jews are peaceful people but will not allow themselves to be thrown under the bus

    2. I respectfully disagree. Threatening violence if we don't get our way (not to mention the silliness of doing this in a locale that has no ability to influence the policy makers in question) is not a Torah value. BH my children have the sechel to stay away from such gatherings. My teffilah is that they should continue to have that sechel and not be influenced by those who are lacking such sechel.

    3. Anyone who took it that these kids were actually THREATENING VIOLENCE doesnt have an ounce of sechel in their brains

    4. I wonder if those more inclined to Torah have ever heard of the shlosha shavuos that Chazal talk about in Kesuvos

  4. Monmouth county historians really need to get out more. Sitting in their own echo chambers tends to produce strange results

    1. No fan of the Cheif, but there is a difference between a 1 time event and continuous protests.

  7. Until we engage new askanim that don’t have their hand in the cookie jar and are not afraid to ruffle feathers lest it affect their personal finances, we wil continue to be doomed.

  8. I guess it’s easier to make the history books these days than some folks think.

Waler Greason, A prominent african american historian who considers himself an expert on race problems concerning the black community, believes that these few kids repeating the chant themes from some in the greater society are “trivializing” the very uncivil and “historic” BLM protests.

And we all thought that his job description entails reporting on whatever events transpired – not trying to inject himself into the unfolding societal story and shaping it in real time by attempting to drown out others so they shouldn’t be heard the way they want to be heard.

He seems to have many problems… But for starters, he should be reminded that this is America and just like the BLM peeps can say what they want, so too can anyone else. So too bad, mister. You don’t own free speech.

Second, if anyone is doing the trivializing it is the significant element within the BLM mob that is doing everything it can – whether legal or not, violent or not – to destroy and erase our country’s history and symbols. It is odd that we don’t hear him screaming about that. If they have a right to trivialize others, they also earn the privilege to have themselves trivialized the same way. Talk about biased and one-sided history..

Would he prefer that the civilly behaved children also rob, plunder, burn businesses down, and cause total chaos to society and the rule of law, so the two moments can be on the same page.

Well, since I’m a nice guy, I’ll give the so-called “historian” more than a moment to ponder how idiotic he sounds. History will not be kind to his memory.

  11. DISGUSTING that Jewish kids comments are called out as inappropriate but Marquis Oliver who wrote on Facebook to burn Jewish businesses in Lakewood and organized a protest the self appointed askanim and powerful leaders gave him a pass and helped him publicly say that his account was hacked which they later admitted was a LIE.

  12. 1. Why are the police promising to send the message to Cuomo? He isn’t our governor

    2. NJ 101.5 really need to learn English. What is a ‘right of passage’? The expression is ‘rite of passage’.

    1. 1. Gov Cuomo is the governor of the state that hosts the sleep-away camps these children attend. I'm not aware of any overnight camps in NJ which cater to this community. If Cuomo doesn't allow camps to reopen in NYS, these children will be stuck at home just like they were for the past several months. So, a message to him is indeed appropriate.

  13. Michael, shut up. Who asked you to apologize for my kids choice of words.

YES, KIDS LIVES MATTER. NO CAMP NO PEACE.

This isn't USSR under KGB rule. This is USA. Have you never heard of Freedom of speech?????

    1. Freedom of speech means you are allowed to say it, not that you should. This obviously starts with parents, so if a parent speaks in an inappropriate manner and without heichal, unfortunately the kids follow.

    2. What was inappropriate?

    3. There isnt anything inappropriate with what these kids chanted and michael had no right apologizing for kids which aren't his

  16. You don't have to be a genius to figure out that 2+2=4. If you connect the dots the pattern is very simple some people in power have an illusion that gov Murphy is going to deliver the goods. They are doing everything in their power to control Lakewood Narrative that will make Murphy happy. And to prove to him that they have power to control Lakewood citizens.

First they called porch minyanim Aiva because Uncle Phil was not happy with the image of people defying his orders. they ignore anti semitic rhetoric online directed at the Jewish community and say it was hacked don't let yeshivos open because they don't want to upset Murphy. They equate him in the same sentence as Hashem as the big G and little g.
