Therapy Services at various NP sites in an amount not to exceed $448,454.00.
-Robert S. Finger Interim Business Administrator/Board Secretary Salary: $700 per diem

Resolution Authorizing the Use of the Competitive Contracting Process for Management
of Student Transportation Services for Nonpublic Schools
WHEREAS, the Lakewood Board of Education desires to seek proposals for the Management
of Student Transportation Services for Nonpublic Schools;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Lakewood Board Education, pursuant to N.J.S.A.
18A:18A-4.3 (a), authorizes the use of the Competitive Contracting process to procure the
following services:
Management of Student Transportation Services for Nonpublic Schools
The Competitive Contracting process shall be administered by the Interim School Business
Administrator pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-4.3 (b).
This is subject to terms and conditions listed on the district website

  2. Here are the pertinent laws concerning my transfer after 17 years of service at my school, which by the way, has five vacancies in my department. Two of my Belmar "kindelach" on the BOE that I taught from ninth to twelfth grade did not even stand up for me one voted yes and the other did not show up.

    NJSA 34:13A-25. Transfers of employees.
    Transfers of employees by employers between work sites shall not be mandatorily negotiable except that no employer shall transfer an employee for disciplinary reasons.
    L. 1989, c. 269, s. 4, eff. Jan. 4, 1990.

    34:13A-27. Resolution of disputes.
    a. If there is a dispute as to whether a transfer of an employee between work sites or withholding of an increment of a teaching staff member is disciplinary, the commission shall determine whether the basis for the transfer or withholding is predominately disciplinary.
    b. If the commission determines that the basis for a transfer is predominately disciplinary, the commission shall have the authority to take reasonable action to effectuate the purposes of
    this act.
