People actually have stuff to do, they have no interest in joining this kind of nonsense
But here is a question for you. This town has many Talmidei Chachomim. Why were none of them there? Why did not one of them think of going to this protest? Where were Rabbi Yehuda Levenberg, Reb Yitzchok Miller, Reb Eliyahu Levin, Reb Moshe Friedman etc?
As I was driving past, my child asked me what is going on. Thank you, Mr Levin. My child has been to the library, but has never thought of asking this question.
And if you don't come out to join the protest you'll need to explain to your child in 3 years from now why is there a big parade on main mid june June.
Does every town in the USA have a parade? Does every city? No
Why would Lakewood have one? Because Mr Levin and Mr Shane are bringing it to town! Instead of keeping things quiet, they are attracting that element to us, to parade through town and to make announcements to all of us.
And if such a parade were to take place in our town, what should we do? The same thing we do when missionary material comes to our house. We throw it out and tell our children that this is not our issue, this is for other people.
Your child was not asking about perversion, that he knows all about and accepts, he was asking why were they protesting perversion, which thanks to your parenting skills he accepts.
