Live: NJDOT Route 9 Improvment Project

Project will take 2 years and cost about $50 Million will start in spring of 2022. Improving Central and Rt 9 intersection by adding an additional lane going north. Extend the turning lane from rt 9 south to rt 88 first street will be right in right out only.  James street will have two Lanes at rt 9 intersection. Meeting taking place at Lakewood Township auditorium live stream by FAA. Turn on volume.

  2. So adding on two lanes for a few hundred feet and a turning lane cost 50 million are you sure you cant find anyone to do it for Five Million I am pretty sure for 40 Million Dollars I would figure out how to it

  3. What a sad political joke. If they cared at all about the congestion they would place a moratorium on building along that strip of route 9.

    Shouldn't that come first?
