Multi-Faith Press Conference Calling on Jackson NJ Township To Condemn Anti-Semitic Documentary

A multi-faith press conference calling on the Jackson NJ Township to pass the proposed ordinance condemning Rise Up Ocean County’s production and distribution of their announced OC2030 anti-Semitic documentary and related trailers that have already demonstrated a clear anti-Semitic and divisive intent among the people of Ocean County. Not the vaad. Not the Lakewood committee. Nobody said a word. Because these neo nazis and their children were only threatening to kill jews. They werent complaining about traffic and over development and all the corruption that has caused it. Again understand where this hatred is coming from and stop doing the things that causes it and gives them an excuse. Then if they are still anti semitic we can hold our heads up high and confront it with pride.

  2. as a resident of jackson we ran away from lakewood to get away from the overdevelopment in lakewood and dont want it our town just like our neighbors. although many of our neighbors are genuinely good people who want the same safe and quiet lifestyle we want, there are those who hate us and are constantly calling the township on us to complain. when i moved in a neighbor called the township on me 4 times in a week. each time a representative from the township came down to my house and told me as i am doing nothing wrong just ignore the neighbors. there is deep rooted anti antisemitism and we have to stand up for ourselves

    1. Yes. You have to stand up for yourselves and let them know that you have a right to live there just like they do. You have a large group of neo nazis in Jackson and they need to be put in their place. But by making statements like this about a website that is picking on real problems in Lakewood without showing that we are willing to castigate the corrupt people causing the problems, we will only make them angrier.

    2. Harold I get where you are coming from, but I have recently checked out that website and to see what it is about. Many people have engaged them in the comments and try to steer the discussion towards the over-development and traffic issues, but the result is always the same. They are attacked for being "one of them" or "trying to cover up the issues", or not paying taxes and freeloading of the government.

The moderators are very slick, letting others lead the antisemitic charge in the comment section, then following up with comments in support of the antisemitic comments.

It seems that most of those who tried to comment on their and differentiate between the entire community, and the individuals who created this mess, have given up, and I don't blame them. It would seem that was the moderators intent. Now they are free to spew and host all the antisemitic garbage they want unchallenged. In their eyes, they are not antisemitic, because they are only anti-Orthodox.
