This lawsuit which was absolutely frivolous on every level is now going to uncover levels of corruption that would have remained hidden. Not sure what they were thinking. They can buy every publication and website in Lakewood. They will not be able to cover up their damaging corruption any longer.
When I read the motion from the lawyer regarding sharaby I was truly shocked. In order to defend a person with morals that deserve no defense , they threatened Sharaby and his children. This cannot confinue. Just to make things perfectly clear. When I decided to run against our senator and committeeman double dipping meshumad senator Singer I actually asked Aaron kotler if it would cause problems for him and if he tells me not to run, I wont. His exact words were that i should do what i felt was right. Then when I lost by a a few hundred votes and they felt threatened, instead of asking me to get out of all politics, they went behind my back and played games with my childrens future in an attempt to control me. What they did was totally unnecessary. I would have gladly stayed out of any politics if asked nicely. But what they did to sharaby is inexcusable and frankly illegal.... should be removed from the election committee.
If I see .... in shul i will be sure to publicly shame him for his actions. NOBODY has a right to act this way . Especially not to protect someone that is both corrupt and immoral.
Berel, i have no idea who you are. But if you knew anything, you would have known that I have been staying out of politics for years now. I actually never was deeply involved in it since 2010 save for an occasional comment on here about the hypocrisy I see daily. In the last election I even said that we should all work together and stop trying to change things. My reward for staying out of politics was this lawsuit accusing me of owning or working with hefkervelt and jleaks and other outspoken people in our community to hurt a supposedly corrupt businessman. If I am getting sued I must defend myself. I sent messages to the plaintiff that I was never involved in any opposition to his corruption and that he should leave me out of this. He refused. He refused to come to a bais din. Now I am involved. I am actually not doing anything, but I was dragged in by force, and the people behind the lawsuit are the same people that are accusing me of being involved in politics in the first place.
Let me make this very clear. All you corrupt politicians, builders , developers ,askonim, vaad members etc. I am not , and I never was out to get you, reveal your corruption, or have you prosecuted. I simply spoke out a few times about the direction our town should be headed in. That alone was a threat to all of you, so you assumed I was out to "get" you all. You all need to calm down. I hardly ever think about any of you. I dont like any of you , and I dont hate any of you. I dont care at all about you or your politics . I have a life that does not revolve around any of you. So berel, you owe me an apology along with all the others.
