When Real Estate went Up in Lakewood

A old Yiddish Newspaper in the early 1900's offering readers the opportunity to own a parcel of land in Lakewood for the cheap price of $47.50 with purchase of a subscription. It warns, that real estate prices are going up. The newspaper was called the Yiddish Tagblatt.

    Obviously even the Schnorers did not a pot to "fry" in.
    Otherwise, Lakewood never would of been able to become what it is today.
    The "Inflators" of property price were, B"H, not around to "Scuewze" the people out of the housing market.

    The first daily newspaper in Yiddish published in New York, by Kasriel Hirsch Sarasohn, between the years 1885-1928.
