Hurricane Florence Update

Hurricane Update: state of Emergency declared in the Carolinas and Georgia risk for impacts along the east coast has increased according to the NWS.
Florence is gradually strengthening with max winds of 70 mph, Rapid intensification expected Sun-Mon. Florence is forecast to be a dangerous major hurricane near the Southeast coast by late next week. Risk is increasing for direct impacts, but details remain uncertain as to exactly where it will make landfall. All those from north Florida to New York need to watch closely. Current trends have it making landfall in the Carolina's before turning north. However, that track will likely shift as it's still 5+ days away.
