Heat Advisory for NJ Heat Index 100-104

The National Weather Service has issued A Heat Advisory now in effect for much of NJ, southeast PA, and northern DE for Monday, as the maximum heat index will be between 100 and 104.
The advisory runs from noon until 7 p.m. for most of the state. In Essex, Union, Hudson, Passaic and Bergen it runs until 8 p.m., the National Weather Service said. Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and Salem are not under a heat advisory and cooler temperatures are expected along the Jersey Shore.

    Cooling centers operated by the oem will be open in many neighborhoods. Look for a building that has the words beis hamedrash on it in your neighborhood. The air conditioning will be running, free drinks and reading material will be provided.
