    2. Can all those who choose to spend their time gambling & playing Poker, please stay in Orlando. You are unwanted in this town, not as a common citizen and nor as an elected official.

    3. It’s not my blog but most of the oilam that read it do not appreciate seeing ads for such goyish type of stuff even assuming it’s for a good cause which is questionable. U want to joke about going to Orlando that’s part of the fun but this takes is too far or maybe it doesn’t and that’s the problem!

  4. it gets even crazier ksher for Pesach at the Florida marlins...

Kosher Korner" in Marlins Park is Kosher for Pesach and with baseball games tonight and tomorrow, you can leave the matzah sandwiches at home.

The kosher concession is located at the Field Level in Right field in Section 1. It's open every game this week, including tomorrow night for Passover at the Park as the Marlins take on the Red Sox today and tomorrow. The festivities begin at 3:00PM on the West Plaza with a pregame concert tomorrow.

Note that Maariv will be done during the 7th inning stretch at the stand.

  6. It's better to read about this than to read about the rechilus and motzi shem ra that is usually written here . The churban came because of sinah. Just for the record ,I am nauseous when I read about the poker games but I feel that the sinah to other yiden that is usually displayed here is much worse , but unfortunately we are immune to that .

    1. Unfortunately the only one who sees sinah motzei shem ra and rechilus is is you. Do you know what the Rambam says about people who steal from the tzibbur or abuse their power?
are you ok with a out of control establishment abusing peoples rights and money to empower themselves on the backs of the tzibbur?

Are you ok with punishing parents and children throwing them out of schools if they dare speak out
are you ok with a disenfranchised public who are taken advantage of by a few powerful people
are you ok with mesira to authorities left ad right so the crooks can protect themselves..
The daily gneivass daas of Yereim ushleimim who are treated as fools by a bought off media to continue the corrupt ways through sheker and deception.

    2. I'm not ok with sinah and rechilus and motzi shem ra and mesirah berabim which causes the churbon

    3. Sinas Chinom caused the churban, not people who were persecuted and tried sticking up for their rights.
Chinom means hate for no reason.

      Delete
    4. The people who caused the churban also believed they were right in their sinah. Everybody thinks they are right but the churban still happened.

    5. People in Spain were persecuted. We are not being persecuted . If you don't like the politicians , then don't vote for them .Using words like persecution to describe our town is worse than sinas chinom.

  7. So sad and so low in frumkeit...
How much lower can we go until we will C"V hit open orthodoxy? Next year we will have kosher for Pesach Challah instead of Matzva R"L will we even feel the Pesach yom tov anymore?

Please stay in Florida and don't bring these thoughts and games and desires to Lakewood
    Thank yoy

  10. It is with shock and sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Yisroel Levin z”l and Elisheva Kaplan a”h, a chosson and kallah recently engaged who were killed in an automobile accident early this morning.

The incident occurred at about 1:40 a.m. when five cars collided in a chain-reaction crash on the Nassau Expressway in Lawrence on the Queens/Long Island border, just outside of Kennedy International Airport. Yisroel and Elisheva were reportedly trapped when their car caught fire during the crash.

Five were injured, and two of those injured are now under arrest as homicide detectives are looking into the possibility that they were driving while intoxicated.

Nassau County Police Department spokesman Detective Lt. Richard LeBrun said that a heavy fog had covered the area at the time of the crash and that the weather conditions could have been a factor in the accident.

Yisroel was a son of Rabbi and Mrs. Shaya Levin of Flatbush. The Levins are noted members of the community, beloved mispallelim of the Mirrer Yeshiva and Agudas Yisroel Snif Zichron Shmuel, and beloved friends of so many.

Yisroel was a brother of Ari (Aryeh) Levin z”l, who tragically passed away at age 26 in January 2016.

Yisroel is survived by his parents, R’ Shaya and Mrs. Leba Levin, and his siblings, R’ Shmuel Dovid Levin, R’ Eli Levin, R’ Yaakov Levin,R’ Dovi Levin, R’ Yoel Levin, R’ Ephraim Mordchai Levin, Mrs. Faigy Jacobson, Mrs. Chaya Raizy Horowitz, and Itty Levin.

Elisheva was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joel Kaplan of Far Rockaway. Residents of Beach 6th Street, the Kaplans are a noted family of baalei chesed and oskim betzorchei tzibbur in the community. Mr. Kaplan has served his children’s yeshiva¸Darchei Torah, in various capacities, as executive director, president or active board member. He is the executive director of the United Jewish Council of the East Side and the chazzan at Congregation Beth Sholom in Lawrence.

Elisheva is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joel Kaplan, and her siblings, Rabbi Mosey Kaplan, R’ Meir Kaplan, Avrohom Yochanan Kaplan and Yitzchok Kaplan.

Levayah details will be provided once they are finalized.

Umacha Hashem dimah me’al kol ponim.

    1. BDE

so sad and right in the middle of Yom tov.

Perhaps it's time to face reality and face Hashem and admit that it's time for TESHUVA as one loving nation together.

May both of these special people have an aliyah and may their families have a nechama.

    2. Words of comfort for yom tov from a psychologist:

For the niftarim and anyone who knows them:
They are blessed and fortunate to have completed their mission in this temporary world and are now in a much better and real world then we are all in.

For the parents and extreme close people to them.
All of us know from a very young age that if someone could not pass a test (nisayon) then Hashem would not put the person into the situation of the test so we can never question Hashem why did this happen to me or someone I know etc.... and by keeping our butachon and emunah (faith and trust) in Hashem and passing the test a person is raised and brought closer to Hashem and goes to the next level.

  11. I did not attend the Rich Roberts carnival, I wont take part in a public event that dis-invites a segment of frum Lakewood residents. The Roshei Yeshiva should have publicly banned it especially since it was used as a means to bring out a point. Has he done the same with the shul not allowing non vaxers to daven there?

    1. He is bringing 10000 children bli ayin hora into one tight cramped quarters . One unvaccinated child who has something can infect hundreds in such tight quarters. It epuls he irresponsible for anybody to invite thousands of kids, abd allow them to get infected eith something .

    2. do all sports stadiums have the same rule they bring 50,000 people to the games. Were all performers of the carnival vaccinated too?

    3. We all know why the roshei yeshiva didn't publicly ban the carnival, yet they wrote a letter forcing all schools to accept non vaccinated children

    4. A sad gelechter - when the schools give all kinds of ridiculous reasons for excluding kids, the roshei yeshiva tell anguished parents "they are private institutions, there's nothing we can do, yodeinu lo shofchu...." but when it comes to non-vaccinated all of a sudden they can say it's ossur for the school to not accept?!

      Delete
    5. any child whether vaccinated or not can "infect hundreds insuch tight quarters" He should have said not to bring any child who is sick.

    6. Nobody in his right mind brings a sick contagious child so it needs not be said .

  12. RR said in a new video that one of the lakewood RY came to visit him erev pesach but e was away in California. The story is a bit odd since all previous visits were coordinated in advance its hard to believe that the administration did not know that he was going away for Pesach,
does it mean that they waited for him to go to CA and than they pretend to visit him at his home??

  14. The levaya was just over...so horrific. Listen to what the father of Yisroel Z”L, R Shaya Levin just got up and said. "On pesach the children take the afikomen. They spend a whole night guarding over it. Finally the father wants the matzo back. He questions the child to make sure it stayed pure-no chometz and then demands it back. But the child won't give it back without being promised an afikomen present. A child is like the matzo pure and free of chometz=yetzer hora. His whole life he tried to make sure it stayed that way...sending him to the best yeshivos etc. Now Hashem wants his matzo back. He said Hashem I am willing to give you the matzo back but I have the right to ask for an afikomen present. For my afikomen I want 10,000 shidduchim for both boys and girls in klal yisroel, 10,000 refuah shlaimas in klal yisroel and siyata dishmaya for 10,000 ppl who need yeshuos in the area of emunah and bitachon."
