Psak Halacha Ahead of vote on Death and Dignity Legislation

The Death and Dignity bill expands the freedom of all qualified terminally ill Americans to make their own end-of-life decisions, including how they die allowing assisted Suicide. It is soon to be voted on in NJ. The Philadelphia Rosh Yeshiva Harav Shmuel Kamentzky Shlita added his signature to the letter.

    Is there a reason not one top tier Posek is on the main letter?

      והזריז בפקוח נפש הרי זה משובח. ואיתא בירושלמי (שם): "השואל - הרי זה מגונה", דאין לישאל שאלה בפקוח נפש דעד שישאל וישיבו לו יבא החולה לידי סכנה, "והנשאל - הרי זה שופך דמים", שהיה לו לידרוש ברבים דפקוח נפש דוחה את השבת

    I asked about poskim, not Roshei Yeshiva...
    Yes, for those who may not realize, there is a very big differnce.
